Rockstar has finally made GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition official, and we know the release date.

Rockstar has finally announced the worst kept secret in gaming, GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. Rumors have been spreading for months that Rockstar is working on remasters of the incredible Grand Theft Auto trilogy.

Now, we know that the rumors are true.

The trilogy will include Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. These 3 popular titles are getting some much-needed upgrades when they release later this year.

According to Rockstar, The Definitive Edition features graphical improvements, and modern gameplay enhancements across the board.

As for exactly when we’ll be playing the title, there’s no need to guess. Thanks to new sources, we have the game’s upcoming release date.

Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition Release Date

Despite no official announcement just yet, we have a release date for the upcoming GTA trilogy.

Budgets have been allocated to various marketing agencies this week, with the following date pencilled in as the scheduled release date.

Currently, GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition’s release date is on track for November 11th, 2021. Allegedly, an official announcement will arrive on GTA III’s 20th anniversary later this month.

In addition, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will also be coming to iOS and Android in the first half of 2022.

UPDATE: VGC has reported that the release date for Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is December 7, 2021 for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. Meanwhile, the next-gen version will come out next year.

The game will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Rockstar Launcher.
