GTA Online's new update is out, here is what you can expect to see when you log-in. Make sure you don't miss out on all that good stuff that Rockstar is giving away for free.
Rockstar just won't stop rolling out updates for GTA: Online. There was the Christmas event, which added snow, cars, and freebies.
After that players were given the New Year Update, adding more cars to the ever-growing multiplayer experience.
And just last month, fans were given the Cayo Perico Heist update, which finally catered for solo players, offering them the ability to take on a new heist by themselves.
Now there's another one! Here are the patch notes for GTA: Online's latest update:
GTA Online Update - New Cars
There are some new cars available to buy in GTA Online's latest update.
First of all, up for grabs at the Diamond Casino as a lucky wheel reward is the Paragon R.
This car is a good pick if you're looking for style, luxury, and a bit of protection.
The Paragon R comes equipped with armor and is a nippy vehicle for getting around in the dangerous and unpredictable streets of Los Santos.
If you're feeling lucky you can try and get your hands on it for free at the Diamond Casino. However, if you've got cash to blast, you can purchase it in-game for $900,000.
If you're not into the luxury car scene, you might be interested in picking up something with more of a classic look and feel.
The Weevil is now available to purchase in-game. Funnily enough, this car was actually removed from the online store but has now found its way back in the GTA Online update.
Interestingly, the Weevil is a similar price to the Paragon R, coming in at $870,000. This might seem rather expensive when you look at both cars in comparison to each other, but who are we to judge.
Get yourself down to Southern S.A Super Autos and you can pick one up, although we would probably recommend you get the Paragon R if you're looking for a bit more bang for your buck...
Free Submarine Upgrade And More
If you happen to be a member of Twitch Prime Gaming rewards, you definitely want to get your hands on a free Kosatka Sonar Station for your submarine.
This is a rather substantial upgrade and will allow you to hunt for hidden treasure caches around the map.
With this new upgrade, you'll be able to scour the ocean floor and locate bountiful rewards with ease, and it's free! This is definitely worth claiming as normally this upgrade costs around $1.2 million.
There are more bonuses available to Twitch Prime Gaming users as well, including:
- 35% Off Kurtz 31 Patrol Boat
- 35% Off Longfin
- 25% Off Weaponized Dinghy ($1,387,500)
Alongside these Twitch Prime Gaming rewards, there are also some regular discounts for players to grab in the GTA Online update:
- 25% Off – Alkonost and Stealth Annihilator.
- 30% Off – Hangars and Renovations
- 40% Off – Cyclone, Visione, Havok and Valkyrie.
Finally, there are some login bonuses simply for opening the game, alongside some cash boosts and RP rewards, as per usual.
As for log-in rewards, you can get your hands on a Güffy Double Logo Forwards cap.
If you choose to steal loot during the Cayo Perico heist you can also pick up a Bigness Faces Sweatshirt.
Alongside these freebies, there is triple cash and RP rewards for Motor Wars Adversary mode and Air Races.
If you enjoy hauling cargo around Los Santos, you can also get double rewards in Air Freight Cargo missions too.
GTA Online's new update is rather generous, we definitely recommend taking full advantage of the submarine upgrade. Furthermore, try out the featured game modes and grab yourself some bonus cash, whilst you can.
