An apparent teaser for GTA 6 has been spotted in Rockstar Game’s latest image promoting a new GTA Online event.
With no official reveals so far, the hype for Grand Theft Auto 6 continues to rise as players eagerly await the first glimpse of the game.
It now seems that the developers are leaning into the anticipation set by their player base, as this latest post is presumably a tease for the upcoming title.
GTA 6 Teased in GTA Online Moon Festival Image
Rockstar Games have posted an image to promote their latest promotion, gifting players a free “Red Happy Moon Tee” in GTA Online. However, gamers have spotted a not-so-subtle nod to GTA 6.
You can see the Roman numeral for 6, VI, in the left corner of the picture, as shown below. These two letters in the image are part of the Vinewood sign found in Los Santos and it appears that the graphic has been strategically set up to isolate the two characters.
Fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise will be hoping that this teaser is the start of the buildup to a reveal of the game. As of now, very little official information is available about GTA 6.
This would not be the first time the developers have hinted at the game. Take-Two, a parent company of Rockstar Games, recently put a possible teaser to GTA 6 in NBA 2K 24.
Additional previous hints also pointed towards a release date between April 2024 and March 2025. A reveal sometime in 2023 would certainly not be out of the question if this is the case.
However, it is hard to ignore the possibility that Rockstar Games may simply be messing with its fanbase rather than giving hints about their upcoming game.
