GTA 6 will feature weapons, fast cars, ways to break the law, and lots of animals! The first trailer for GTA 6 has been revealed, and anticipation is running wild.
It showcased the main characters, the returning Vice City location, and some four-legged, winged, and water-based creatures you could expect to encounter.
So, without delay, let’s dive into all the animals that seem set to feature in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game.
All Confirmed Animals
Here are all of the confirmed animals that featured in GTA 6’s first trailer:
One of the first animals we encounter in the trailer is birds! These can be observed in the opening frames and consistently throughout the video.
While the birds we mention here are just generic, we see some specific species later on, which will be mentioned below.
Next up, we catch a glimpse of our first ocean creatures, Dolphins. These can be seen around 11 seconds into the trailer.
These mammals are confirmed to be included in GTA 6, as they are spotted jumping in and out of the water.
GTA 6 will feature Flamingos! Around 21 seconds into the trailer, these pink birds fly through a marshland.
Canines will be back in GTA 6, as shown by this tiny dog running along the beach. There were seven dog breeds in GTA V, so we expect more than just this small pup to feature.
- GTA V Dog Breeds
- Border Collie
- Golden Retriever
- West Highland Terrier
It wouldn’t be a location based around Florida if there weren’t any alligators, would it? These reptilians appear multiple times throughout the trailer, with the most prominent occurrence being when one breaks into a store.
This occurs around 46 seconds into the GTA 6 trailer.
Other Possible Animals
Here are some animals that could feature in GTA 6. These have appeared in previous games or are based on Vice City’s location.
Killer Whales (Orcas) or Sharks
You can see a possible killer whale or shark in the same frame as the dolphins. However, we can’t confirm if this is an orca or a shark, so we have put this here.
This fish-like animal certainly has a sharp fin on the upside of its back so it could be either of the two. We would lean towards a shark as they previously featured in GTA: Vice City.
Bobcats are native to Florida’s deep forest, swamps, and hammock land. With flamingos appearing in what seems to be a swampy marshland, it would not be a stretch to see this native large cat in the game.
It would also make sense for some form of large cat to feature as cougars featured in GTA V.
Panthers are another animal associated with the state of Florida, even having an NHL team named after the creature, the Florida Panthers.
The inclusion of this wildlife could depend on the size of the map. Panthers commonly inhabit the area around Lake Okeechobee, which is significantly north of Miami, where Vice City is based.
Cows are a prominent animal in Miami-Dade County, and with the game being based around Miami and the outer towns, it would make sense for cattle to appear in the game.
Sea Turtles were featured in the original GTA: Vice City game, so it would make sense for them to return for Grand Theft Auto 6.
However, at the moment, there has been no sighting or confirmation of them within the game. If they do appear, we suspect there will be quite an upgrade on their graphics.
If we spot more animals in future GTA 6 trailers, we will be sure to update this article. In the meantime, you must wait for more details to reveal!
