One of Black Ops 6 Zombies’ most useful (and notoriously challenging) Easter Eggs has arrived, as The Tomb adds the ability to get Gold Armor!

Getting Gold Armor in Black Ops 6 is deceptively simple, but it’s actually one of the most difficult things to pull off on The Tomb.

But for those looking to take on the new map’s tricky final boss, you’ll want every advantage you can get! Gold Armor will massively increase your overall survivability, but getting your hands on it requires taking on a devastating secret boss fight!

How to Get Gold Armor on The Tomb

To complete the Gold Armor Easter Egg on The Tomb in Black Ops 6 Zombies, follow these steps:

  1. Load into The Tomb on Standard mode
  2. Follow the on-screen directions until you open the Door to Nowhere and arrive in the Dark Aether.
  3. Next, you need to find and break two crates inside the Dark Aether.

Blood Sacrifice Tips

  • In a Blood Sacrifice trial, players will have to fight three powerful boss zombies, which are far stronger than any other undead you’ll be facing. We recommend bringing a Legendary-rarity weapon at max Pack-a-Punch strength just to take them on.
    • The top statue will spawn three Doppelghasts, and the lower statue will spawn three Shock Mimics.
    • It’s worth noting that the Light Mend Ammo Mod deals extra damage to Doppelghasts, while Cryo Freeze is best against the Shock Mimics.

  • Furthermore, the player’s health will be reduced to 1 HP, meaning they’ll have to rely solely on their armor and avoid damage to survive.
    • Therefore, make sure that you have 3 Armor Plates and a Tier 3 vest before taking on the Blood Trial.
    • Using a Shields Up GobbleGum is a great way to increase your survivability too!
  • A red mist will fill the Dig Site, massively reducing visibility – though the new Death Perception Perk will help you spot nearby enemies through the fog.

  • Getting downed or leaving the area will cause the trial to fail – but it can be restarted the following Round.
  • You don’t have to complete both trials one after the other. Instead, feel free to take a few rounds before attempting the next one, if necessary.

What Does Gold Armor Do?

Gold Armor has the same durability as regular armor, but it has the added benefit of healing itself over time.

As long as a player isn’t actively being hit by damage, the Gold plates will restore themselves to full without using up your plate reserves.

This gives the Gold Armor user an incredible boost to their overall survivability, and makes them a must-have when it comes to completing The Tomb’s Easter Egg Main Quest!
