The God of War Ragnarok PS5 controller pre-orders are live, so here’s everything you need to know about the limited-edition DualSense.

God of War Ragnarok is one of the most anticipated releases of 2022, so when PlayStation announced a limited-edition controller would drop alongside the title, fans lost their minds.

It’s not quite an exclusive console, but given the ongoing PS5 stock shortage, it’s understandable that Sony would prefer to manufacture a few special controllers and ensure there are enough to go around.

That’s not to say that the device will be easy to come by. And for those looking to get their hands on the controller, we’ve compiled a list of everything you need to know:

God of War Ragnarok PS5 Controller Release Date

The exclusive God of War Ragnarok DualSense controller will release on November 9, the same day as the game’s official release date and the release of the Collector’s and Jotnar Editions.

However, you’ll be able to pre-order the God of War controller here starting on September 27!

How Much Does the God of War Ragnarok Controller Cost?

The official God of War Ragnarok DualSense price is $74.99 in the US, £64.99 in the UK, and $94.99 CAD in Canada.

Although a standard DualSense retails at $69.99, Sony has been known to raise the price slightly for its newer Controllers, including the Gray Camouflage version and the Cosmic Red, Starlight Blue, Nova Pink, and Galactic Purple variants.

Miss out on the initial drop and we imagine getting your hands on the controller will be far more expensive very soon. After all, scalpers sold the God of War Ragnarok Jotnar Edition for insane prices on eBay, moments after it went out of stock.

What Does It Look Like?

The God of War DualSense controller features an exclusive blue and white design, inspired by the Norse word of Midgard.

In the controller’s center, a stylish bear and wolf insignia represents Kratos and Atreus, who are returning as the leads in God of War Ragnarok.

Given the high demand for God of War’s collector’s editions, we anticipate these controllers will be similarly snatched up.
