There are 5 different editions of God of War Ragnarok and each of them is a different price and comes with a different selection of in-game or physical extras, as well as the game. They are:

Standard Edition
The Standard Edition of God of War Ragnarok comes with the game only and costs $59.99 on PS4 and $69.99 on PS5. Additionally, it can only be purchased after God of War Ragnarok releases as all pre-orders of the game are the launch edition!
Launch Edition
The Launch Edition of God of War Ragnarok is what any players who pre-order the game will get if they don’t purchase any of the more expensive editions. It costs $59.99 on PS4 and $69.99 on PS5 and comes with both pre-order bonuses.
Digital Deluxe Edition
The Digital Deluxe Edition of God of War Ragnarok includes the full game on both PS4 and PS5 for the price of $79.99. It can only be purchased digitally on the PlayStation Store and includes the following additional content for the game:

How to Upgrade God of War Ragnarok From PS4 to PS5
If you have purchased God of War Ragnarok for PS4, you can upgrade it to the PS5 version of the game, but it’ll cost you $10 (or local currency equivalent).
Whether you have the disc or digital version of the game, you will be able to upgrade it at any time after launch. Here’s how to do it:
- If you have a physical version of God of War Ragnarok, put the disc into your PS5
- If you have a digital version of the game, make sure it is installed
- Find the God of War Ragnarok icon and press down to go to the Game Hub for it
- Select the Upgrade Offer and purchase it
- Press download and it will install the PS5 version of the game
