We’re not too shocked by the reveal though. After all, this major leak revealed God of War was coming to PC back in September.

It seems that a God of War PC port is finally coming to Steam on January 14, 2022.

With Sony acquiring a new studio that specializes in PC ports, we expect to see more games make the jump to PC soon. Perhaps God of War won’t even be the only reveal in our immediate future!
God of War will arrive on Steam on January 14, and will retail for $49.99. It’s a substantial price, seeing as fans believe God of War will be free on PlayStation soon.
God of War PC Improvements
However, it’s worth noting that God of War supports both NVIDIA DLSS and Reflex low latency technology. Santa Monica Studio confirms that the game’s PC port will feature improved resolutions and improved screen space reflections to create a “striking visual quality unique to the platform”.
Of course, you can also expect 4K visuals and unlocked framerates on supported devices!
Today’s announcement comes alongside the news that God of War for PC will come with “robust controller support” for both DualShock 4 and DualSense controllers amongst other gamepads.
Buyers will also gain access to the following digital content alongside their new purchase:
