Get Better at Warzone Sniping With One Simple Change

There's just one trick to getting better at Warzone sniping, and it'll change the game forever.

Thanks to the large-scale open environment of Call of Duty: Warzone, sniping is one of the best ways to secure your kills.

After all, why bother engaging in close-quarters combat when you could simply take out enemy players before they're close enough to spot you?

Snipers have long been a part of the Warzone meta. In fact, for a brief moment in Warzone Year 1, a sniper was actually the most popular weapon in the game.

And now, players are discovering that sniping is better than ever, after making one small change to their rifles.

And we're not talking about the secret trick to get no scope glint on your Warzone snipers - although we definitely recommend you use that too!

How to Improve Sniping Skills in Warzone Easily

Thanks to a new upload by professional Warzone streamer Jackfrags on YouTube, we now know how to get better at sniping in-game with nothing more than a quick loadout change.

According to Jackfrags himself, making a single change to his sniper improved the user's Warzone sniping skills significantly.

When you're using the best sniper loadout in Warzone Season 2, here's the change that you have to make in order to see major improvement:

Make the switch to the Cover Shot sniper reticle.

This unlockable reticle requires platers to get 50 headshots while using the Variable Zoom scope, but it's well worth the grind.

"This is the reason that my sniping has improved so much recently," Jackfrags claims.

It's clear that the Cover Shot deserves its place on our list of the best reticles for every gun in Warzone Season 2. Thanks to its clean nature and great visibility it's a perfect pick for any sniper rifle.

And using the Cover Shot reticle should also improve your sniping skills in Warzone Season 2. It's certainly made us want to give it a go after watching Jackfrags' sniping skills in action!

Strangely enough, this sniper isn't even Warzone's most broken class in Season 2. That title belongs to another weapon, one that's making battle royale players furious at the moment.

And if you're bored of waiting for new Warzone content, you're not the only one. Thankfully, there's a new secret Warzone Season 2 weapon to find in the game - assuming you know where to look.

On the off chance that you missed it, yesterday we saw our first look at the new Warzone map! Thanks to a leaked image we now know exactly what to expect when the Verdansk nuke drops very soon.
