Where Can You Farm Yelan’s Ascension Materials?

So far, you already know what materials you need to ascend Yelan. However, you may not really know where to find these!

Here’s an overview of where you can farm these materials:

You can only find Starconch in the coast of Liyue, mostly on beaches.

Another location which is good for finding Starconch is Guyun Stone Forest.

If you want to get Insignia, you have to beat enemies such as Fatui Skirmishers, Fatui Cicin Mages, and Fatui Pyro Agents. You can mostly find these enemies in Liyue.

The higher the level of the enemies you beat, the higher the level of the Insignia you get!

However, if you are struggling with higher-level enemies, you can use low-tier Insignia to craft higher-tier Insignia.

On the other hand, Runic Fangs are a little hard to get. So far, Yelan is the only character who uses this Material for ascension.

You can get them by defeating level 30 Ruin Serpents in the Chasm.

As for Varunada Lazurite Fragments, you can easily farm them by defeating regular bosses, such as:

  • Oceanid
  • Stormterror
  • Hydro Hypostasis
  • Childe

Where Can You Farm Talent Materials?

In order to level up her talents, you will also need to know where to find materials! This is where we recommend you farm them:

Obtaining Gilded Scales is a slightly complicated process.

In order to get them, you have to beat Zhongli’s story quest. You’ll be able to find them in Beneath the Dragon-Queller, in Liyue.

The Prosperity Books can be found in the Taishan Mansion on Mondays, Thursdays and Sundays.

As for the Crown of Insight, you can get them through offerings to the Frostbearing Tree and five from the Sacred Sakura.

So far, this is all the information that you need about Yelan’s ascension materials!

Genshin Impact version 2.7 is coming out very soon, therefore, you really want to make sure you farm as many of these items as you can!

Although it has been a very quiet few weeks in Genshin Impact, it looks like there’s many exciting news and features on the horizon!

Apart from Yelan, Hoyoverse recently announced a new character which will be released soon. His name is Shikanoin Heizou and this is all we know about him so far.

We can’t wait to see what Yelan’s storyline has in store, as players were starting to wonder what to do after finishing the Archon Quest.
