GameStop is not subtle this time as it has directly teased an upcoming Pro member PS5 and Xbox Series X restock.
Console scarcity is still a problem. We are already in the Holidays season, but there is still no indication that this problem will be resolved any time soon.
This situation has led to retailers constantly restocking both current-gen consoles. These restocks have become huge and expected events.
GameStop has been recently hinting at an upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X restock.
Now, the retailer is being much more direct and finally confirmed a restock is on the horizon.
GameStop Latest Ad Confirms An Upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X Restock
GameStop posted an ad on Twitter that confirms an upcoming online Pro member PS5 and Xbox Series X restock on the way.
However, GameStop did not confirm the date or time for this restock. The retailer specified that Pro members would have priority access to this restock.
The ad humorously states that Pro members will get early access passes, just like the backstage passes you get in concerts.
Generally, when GameStop hints at these Pro member events, a restock usually takes place the next day. This is not always the case, but it is worth keeping an eye on it.
Upon reading the ad, gamers were thrilled to see what GameStop has in stores. Considering GameStop’s recent track record, this excitement is justified.
It seems the retailer is trying to keep that track record alive and well. Today, GameStop had a solid Halo Edition Xbox Elite Controller restock that left many customers happy.
Aside from this, GameStop has been less affected by the order cancelation wave that has affected many retailers.
Mind you, GameStop is not entirely exempt from this. Last month, GameStop canceled some Halo Infinite Xbox Series X orders.
Additionally, back in October, the retailer canceled several PS5 and Xbox Series X orders.
Certainly, many Pro members will be happy if this restock is as successful as GameStop’s most recent PS5, and Xbox Series X restock attempts.
