Could GameStop be dropping PS5 or Xbox Series X consoles today, September 14? Rumors certainly seem to suggest this is the case.
GameStop is one of the more reliable next-gen restockers, and it seems we hear from the retailer every week or two when it comes to upcoming drops.
Now, it seems that GameStop will have another next-gen restock, featuring PS5 consoles, on September 14. And it’s not the only place dropping new devices today either!
We’ve got a new PlayStation Direct PS5 restock about to arrive, and that’s not all.
It looks like Best Buy, Walmart, and more will restock the PS5 this week! Meanwhile, there’s an Xbox Series X/S restock at Costco, Microsoft, Best Buy, and more!
GameStop PS5 Restock – September 14
It looks as though we’ve got a new GameStop PS5 restock dropping on September 14!
Lately, GameStop has been letting PowerUp Rewards Pro members know about upcoming next-gen drops early.
Simply signing up for the company’s membership program is enough to not only provide notification about any upcoming drops, but it also gives you a better shot at obtaining one yourself.
PowerUp Rewards Pro members get early access to next-gen restocks, after all. And it seems like lately, non-members are having fewer and fewer chances at buying the PS5 and Xbox at GameStop.
Now, the retailer is teasing an upcoming drop, by hinting that customers should sign up for the membership program soon. Usually, these teases signify that a restock is coming imminently, and we expect it to be today.
We’ll update this post with more details about exactly what’s to come when the information arrives.

GameStop Xbox Series X All Access Restock – September 16
What’s more, GameStop looks to be dropping more Xbox Series X consoles on September 16 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM PT. These consoles are already appearing as part of the site’s advertisements, but they’re also coming to the Xbox All Access scheme.
You won’t be able to buy the Xbox outright on September 16. Instead, gamers can choose to pay a monthly cost for the console and Xbox Game Pass that works out slightly cheaper than paying for the subscription service for 2 years.
It’s a good deal for those who will be purchasing Xbox Game Pass anyway, but not as flexible as buying the device outright.
Unfortunately for those looking for the Limited Edition Xbox, it seems that pre-orders for the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X are already over in the US!
However, there’s one retailer that promises it will have the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X for pre-order before launch!
In other gaming news, it looks as though a massive PlayStation Experience event is coming in December! And new reports suggest that the PS5 stock shortage could be over soon!
