Eager gamers are camping out in massive queues ahead of the October 29 in-store GameStop PS5 restock.
It’s finally time for another in-store restock, and GameStop is extremely busy following the recent announcement.
With many PlayStation fans sick of dealing with online scalpers and sales that are over in seconds, we can’t blame them for getting excited. However, as ever, there aren’t enough PS5 consoles to go around.
The last time a restock like this occurred, we saw enormous queues outside GameStop nationwide. Now, history appears to be repeating itself.
Unfortunately, if you’re considering camping out in advance, bear in mind that today’s drop is for this expensive PS5 GameStop bundle! You won’t be able to simply purchase the next-gen console, even after waiting in line.
GameStop October 29 Restock Huge Queues
It seems that massive queues are already forming outside of GameStop stores on October 29, ahead of the upcoming PS5 restock.
Although GameStop stores won’t be opening until approximately 8 AM local time, queues are already forming on October 29. With each store getting a limited supply of consoles, eager gamers are unwilling to miss out on the upcoming drop.
As ever, we’re also seeing some determined fans camping out outside their local store to ensure they get a good place in line.
Seeing as today’s PS5 stock levels in each GameStop store are relatively limited, it’s a good idea to queue early!
It’s a good time to get your hands on a next-gen console though. After all, the free PS Plus games for November 2021 are well worth your time!
Interestingly, we just got new information about how many PS5s have been sold so far. The number is higher than you would think, especially with fans still needing to queue like this.
