GameStop has just restocked its supply of in-store PS5 consoles, leading to queuing chaos and disappointment in many of its retail stores.
It seems like PlayStation 5 consoles are dropping in-store and online everywhere at the moment, and yet the problem of getting hold of one is still apparent! Although, new information suggests October is the month where next-gen stock becomes more available.
Lately, GameStop has been one step ahead of most retailers, dropping a whole host of next-gen console restocks out of nowhere.
In fact, today marked the start of a PS5 restocking frenzy, happening at various GameStop stores nationwide. And whilst it hasn’t been the smoothest experience for shoppers, it still seems to be an effective way of obtaining a next-gen console.
Alongside this, some shoppers have even managed to spot a new in-store GameStop PS5 bundle. Therefore, It’s worth mentioning that shoppers may want to consider a bundled PS5 package, as they appear to be more readily available.
PlayStation Direct is also a viable option for those after a PS5. This service works via an invite-only method, with the idea being that this will deter scalpers. Hopefully, as a result, this should save unhappy customers from waiting around in person, although it has had its frustrations.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what some GameStop customers have experienced today, with queues stretching down the road and hordes of expectant shoppers gathering outside stores nationwide.
