GameStop might be the right place to get an Xbox Series X or PS5 as it hints at an upcoming restock for next week.
The Holiday season is finally here! Unfortunately, current-gen consoles are still considered an epic rarity real-life item.
Gamers still try to get their PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles through restocks that last minutes in the best-case scenario.
GameStop just recently had its Cyber Monday restock, just like other retailers.
Luckily for those who missed it and are still looking for a console, the retailer hints at another upcoming restock.
GameStop Latest Ad Hints to Possible PS5 & Xbox Series X PowerUp Pro Restock
GameStop’s latest ad promotes its PowerUp Rewards Pro membership. This advertisement is common before a PS5 and Xbox Series X drop.
This is based on GameStop’s previous track records with restocks. Even though there is no guarantee, it is worth keeping an eye for a possible restock.
Sometimes GameStop is a bit more direct when hinting at these restocks. On this occasion, the ad is less straightforward.
Although, it would not be the first time an ad like this led to a GameStop PS5 and Xbox Series X restock.
UPDATE: GameStop is now live with Xbox Series X consoles – December 6
Recent PS5 and Xbox Series X Order Cancelations
In addition to stock scarcity, order cancelation has been a common problem affecting recent restocks.
A few days ago, Target canceled a considerable amount of PS5 orders. Gamers placed these orders during its recent PS5 and Xbox Series X restock on December 2.
Target is sadly not the only incident of order cancelations. Walmart recently canceled many of its PS5 orders from its Cyber Monday drop.
Walmart also canceled PS5 and Xbox Series X orders after its Black Friday restock.
