Warzone 2 players are finding themselves with unfair advantages in the Gulag after a game-breaking bug gives them “wall-hacks.”
This bug makes it so that the Gulag map fails to render for the player and makes every wall and surface invisible. However, players can’t walk through walls or shoot through surfaces and are still visible to other players.
But it still gives players an unfair advantage, and since they can see the other player’s movements, they can plan accordingly.
In the Reddit clip below, you can see the player trying to throw a grenade, but it sticks to an invisible surface.
This isn’t the only bug currently plaguing the Gulag. Some players are getting confused by the jailer in a Gulag match. Instead of spawning with a pistol, they appear to spawn with the jailer’s mini-gun.
In a match that defines your redeployment, it is incredibly frustrating to lose because of a bug or glitch.
Wall hacks and cheats are already a massive issue in Warzone 2, so it’s frustrating that players are finding bugs that accidentally give them the same advantage.
Hopefully, Raven Software addresses these bugs in the upcoming Warzone 2 Season 2 gulag changes.
Since they are returning to a more familiar format, it could mean that players are less prone to these sorts of game-breaking issues.
Warzone 2 is seeing a lot of change in the coming weeks. For starters, Warzone 2 Season 2 is bringing back the 1v1 Gulag and many of the fan-favorite mechanics from the original Warzone.
The Warzone 2 economy is getting a balancing update, and players will even get a new Warzone 2 map called Ashika Island.
It is an exciting time to be a Warzone 2 player with all of the upcoming changes. Infinity Ward is set to reveal more about the changes in a deep-dive blog post next week.
