How Are Squad Battles Points Calculated?
There are a number of equations used to calculate Squad Battles points at the end of each game.
Here are the Squad Battles points calculations according to EA:
Win Formula
These points calculations will only apply in a Squad Battles Match that you win.
[(Team Rating Score Win + Match Result + Skill Coins) * Win Difficulty Modifier] + (Goals For * Goals Difficulty Modifier)
Here’s how the points formula works in FIFA 23:
- Team Rating Score Win
- This value is created using this equation:
- (Team Rating * 3) + (Chemistry Rating / 2)
- Match Result
- This value is different if you win or lose. Since this formula is for a win, this value will be 200.
- Skill Coins
- This is the value you are shown at the end of the match. It calculates how many FUT Coins you get for various actions, like scoring goals. For this equation, it’s a direct copy of that value into the formula.
- Win Difficulty Modifier
- This value is generated based on the difficulty setting you chose before the match:
Difficulty (Win) | Modifier |
---|---|
Beginner | 0.5 |
Amateur | 0.6 |
Semi-Pro | 0.7 |
Professional | 1 |
World-Class | 1.6 |
Legendary | 2.1 |
Ultimate | 2.6 |
- Goals For
- This value is created using the following equation:
- (Total Goals Scored [Max of 5] * 40)
- Goals Difficulty Modifier
- This value is generated based on the difficulty setting that you chose before the match:
Difficulty Level | Goal Difficulty Modifier |
---|---|
Beginner | 0.5 |
Amateur | 0.5 |
Semi-Pro | 1 |
Professional | 1.5 |
World-Class | 2.5 |
Legendary | 3.5 |
Ultimate | 4 |
Loss Formula
This formula will only apply in a Squad Battles Match that you lose.
[(Team Rating Score Loss + Match Result + Skill Coins) * Loss Difficulty Modifier] + (Goals For * Goals Difficulty Modifier)
Here’s how the loss formula works in FIFA 23:
- Team Rating Score Loss
- This value is created by using the following equation:
- (Team Rating * 3) + (Chemistry Rating / 2)
- Match Result
- This value is different if you win or lose. Since this formula is for a loss, this value will be 50.
- Skill Coins
- This is the value you are shown at the end of the match. It calculates how many FUT Coins you get for various actions, like scoring goals. For this equation, it’s a direct copy of that value into the formula.
- Loss Difficulty Modifier
- This value is generated based on the difficulty setting you chose before the match:
Difficulty (Loss) | Modifier |
---|---|
Beginner | 0.2 |
Amateur | 0.25 |
Semi-Pro | 0.4 |
Professional | 0.5 |
World-Class | 0.6 |
Legendary | 0.7 |
Ultimate | 0.7 |
- Goals For
- This value is created by performing the following equation:
- (Total Goals Scored [Max of 5] * 40)
- Goals Difficulty Modifier:
- This value is generated based on the difficulty setting that you selected prior to the match:
Difficulty Level | Goal Difficulty Modifier |
---|---|
Beginner | 0.5 |
Amateur | 0.5 |
Semi-Pro | 1 |
Professional | 1.5 |
World-Class | 2.5 |
Legendary | 3.5 |
Ultimate | 4 |
