The Gen 9 starters – Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly- have already become favorites for many Pokemon fans, and they will be arriving in Pokemon GO soon!

Every generation of Pokemon games introduces a new trio of starter Pokemon that players can choose from. And as the first Pokemon a player can get in a game, they almost instantly become beloved by fans.

Luckily, all three of the starters from Scarlet & Violet will be coming to Pokemon GO soon. Here’s what you need to know!

Pokemon GO Gen 9 Starters Release Date – Fuecoco, Sprigatito, & Quaxly

Developer Niantic has confirmed that Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly will finally be coming to Pokemon GO on September 5, 2023.

They will be available in 5km Eggs from then onwards, after their introduction during the Paldean Adventure event.

Unfortunately, you will have to wait five days longer to catch Fuecoco, Sprigatito, or Quaxly in the wild. This is because they will debut as wild spawns during the Ultra Unlock: Paldea event, which begins on September 10, 2023.

All Confirmed Paldean Pokemon Coming in Pokemon GO: Adventures Abound

Niantic has revealed that all of these Paldean Pokemon will be making their GO debuts during the new season, Adventures Abound, in September 2023:

  • Sprigatito
    • Floragato
    • Meowscarada
  • Quaxly
    • Quaxwell
    • Quaquaval
  • Pawmi
    • Pawmo
    • Pawmot
  • Lechonk
    • Oinkologne
  • Bombirdier
  • Frigibax
    • Arctibax
    • Baxcalibur
  • Nymble
    • Lokix

Lechonk and Oinkologne will be releasing on September 5, the same day as Fuecoco, Sprigatito, and Quaxly.

Meanwhile, the rest of these new Paldean Pokemon on the list will be coming to GO on September 10.
