MW2 and Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded has given us a ton of new content, including the FTAC Siege pistol. This pistol is a powerful weapon, and it is highly customizable as well.
While it lands under the pistol category, the attachment options can turn it into a functioning SMG. The fast fire rate and quick movement speed make this an excellent secondary weapon.
Of course, you will need to unlock it in-game, and here is how you can obtain the FTAC Siege in MW2 & Warzone 2.
Every Way to Unlock FTAC Siege
The FTAC Siege can be unlocked in one of three ways:
- Getting 50 Sidearm Hipfire Operator Kills
- Buying a Store Bundle that includes it
- Extracting it from DMZ
The 50 Sidearm Hipfire Kills is the best way to unlock it because it won’t cost you any money. Use a pistol on a compact map like Shipment or Shoothouse to quickly and easily unlock this weapon.
If you do not have access to MW2 multiplayer, the next best way to complete it is by playing Plunder. This is because it is a respawn game mode, giving you more opportunities to achieve this kill type.
However, the developers have recently confirmed that Plunder will be part of the playlist rotation, meaning it will not always be available.

We recommend adding attachments to your pistol that improve hip-fire accuracy and sprint-to-fire speed, as this will benefit getting these kills.
Additionally, if you do not wish to complete this challenge, the FTAC Siege will be available in a Store Bundle later. Buying this bundle will unlock the weapon.
Call of Duty players can also get their hands on another new powerful pistol in-game. Find out how to unlock the GS Magna.
What is a Sidearm Hipfire Operator Kill?
A Sidearm Hipfire Operator Kill is any kill with a pistol where you did not aim down sights while shooting.
Hip firing is a much less accurate way of shooting at an enemy, but it can be helpful in close-range scenarios where you do not have enough time to ADS.
The Throwing Star has finally been added to MW2 & Warzone 2 after being delayed in Season 2 Reloaded. Players can unlock this throwable equipment for free by completing an in-game challenge.
