How to Get Fresh Milk in Zelda: TOTK

You can't save Hyrule with brittle bones - here's where to find some Calcium.

Fresh Milk is one of the key ingredients in many heart-restoring dishes in The Legend of Zelda: TOTK – but it’s not easy to find.

Milk is one of the must-have ingredients when making porridge, soups, stews and more in Zelda: TOTK. However, you won’t be able to just milk cattle yourself, nor will you find this culinary delight just lying around.

Whether you’re looking to spend some Rupees or earn your reward for free, here’s how to get Fresh Milk in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to Find Fresh Milk in Tears of the Kingdom

The best place to find Fresh Milk in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is in Hateno Village’s general store. In the shop, 3 Fresh Milk can be purchased for 12 Rupees each.

To force the store to restock, Link needs to fast travel far across the map and then rest at a fire or in a bed for 24 hours. Then return to Hateno Village and you’ll be able to buy the Fresh Milk all over again!

Link can also get his hands on Fresh Milk for free by trading with the dairy farmer Dantz at Hateno Pasture (Coordinates: 3618, -2084, 0177).

Dantz has been struggling to get his herd to produce milk and needs acorns to mix into their feed. For the price of 3 acorns, he’ll give out a bottle of Fresh Milk – no Rupees required.

How to Get Acorns in Zelda: TOTK

Instead, shoot squirrels with arrows and they’ll drop acorns in their fright! Repeat this 3 times and you’ll have enough to exchange for a Fresh Milk.

You can even trade that milk back for free cheese at the Hateno Cheese store – once you’ve unlocked it!

Don’t forget, you’ll need Fresh Milk to get your hands on both the Stealth (Sheik) Armor and the Radiant Armor in TOTK!
