If you’re struggling with the difficulty level of The Tomb, you’re not alone. While the map’s Easter Egg is relatively easy to complete, it has a few moments that are true nightmares to complete, especially solo!
And while a Ray Gun will be useless against The Tomb’s final boss, which requires a bullet weapon to defeat, it’s the perfect gun to help you thin out the zombie hordes.
That’s why fans will be extremely happy to see that you can earn a free Ray Gun every time you play the Tomb! Here’s how:
How to Get a Free Ray Gun on The Tomb
To get a free Ray Gun on The Tomb map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies, simply follow these steps:
- Load into a Standard game of The Tomb
- When Directed mode arrives, this side quest Easter Egg will not be possible in the guided mode.
- Find and pick up one of the shovels from around the map. These can be found in four locations that are all easy to find:
- Now that you have the shovel, look carefully for these special dig locations around the map. Hold interact (Square/X/F) to dig them up.
- New dig sites will appear every Round, so you may need to progress to the next wave if you can’t find any more.
- In each dig site, there’s a small chance to get an ‘Ancient Gem’ which looks like a glowing green stone.
- After digging up three green gems, head to the Tombs, where the bull constellation puzzle and Death Perception machine can be found.
- Place the gems on this statue to the left of the bull wall paintings.
- Defeat the extra-tough Doppelghasts that spawn.
- Then, return to the statue and it will drop not only a free Ray Gun, but also 1000 Essence!
And it’s not just a Ray Gun that’s up for grabs every time you hop into The Tomb map.
