This new Black Ops 6 Zombies Easter Egg should be something you do every single game on The Tomb, as it’ll give you a free Pack-a-Punch!
The Tomb is finally here for Black Ops 6 Zombies, and players have just discovered a simple yet incredibly-rewarding Easter Egg.
This trick can be used every single game, as soon as you reach the Dark Aether on The Tomb. And with just a few seconds of effort, you’ll get yourself a free Raw Aetherium Crystal, Ammo Mod, and an Aether Tool to boot!
How to Get a Free Pack-a-Punch on The Tomb
- To get started, load into a game of Black Ops 6 Zombies on The Tomb.
- Then head through the Door to Nowhere, and reach the Dark Aether.
- Simply follow the on-screen instructions at the start of The Tomb map and you’ll arrive here by default.
- Now that you’re in the Dark Aether, look up at the floating rocks in the sky above.
- To begin the Easter Egg, you need to find and shoot a suspicious rock in the sky using a bullet weapon.
- Sometimes you may see a little electricity effect on the floating stones, but it’s possible that there’s not always a tell which rock triggers the next step.
- In our case, we just shot every rock until we found the correct one.
- Once the right rock is shot, five rocks including the one you shot will begin to move in a circle around the Dark Aether.
- You need to shoot all five rocks in quick succession, which will pause their movement temporarily.
- If you manage to shoot all five before the first has started moving again, you’ll hear an audio cue.
- Then, in front of the nearby altar, you’ll find one Raw Aetherium Crystal and a Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod for each member of the team!
That Raw Aetherium Crystal can be used to immediately Tier 1 Pack-a-Punch the weapon in your hands. Make sure you have the desired gun equipped when you go to pick it up – and be quick, it won’t stick around forever!
It’s a great way to save 5000 Essence at the start of a Zombies game, but that’s not all! Once you’ve equipped Cryo Freeze, you’ll be able to get a free Aether Tool weapon upgrade too!
How to Get a Free Aether Tool
After getting Cryo Freeze from the Easter Egg above (or simply purchasing it at The Arsenal for 500 Salvage), you’ll need to find these two waterfalls in the Dark Aether.
Shoot both waterfalls with a weapon that’s equipped with the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod and they will freeze solid.
Freeze both waterfalls and a free Aether Tool will appear nearby!
Players report that the later in the game you attempt this Easter Egg, the higher tier the Aether Tool will be. At Round 21, the Aether Tool will be Legendary rarity, so it’s worth waiting before freezing those waterfalls!
In our case, we attempted this as soon as we got to the Dark Aether around Round 7, and the tool was blue rarity – allowing us to instantly upgrade our gun to Rare.
With an Aether Tool and a free Pack-a-Punch to enjoy every single game, you’ll be able to save a lot of Essence and Salvage in the early rounds of The Tomb!
