Along with other quests, skins, and items, Fortnite x Dragon Ball is bringing Versus Boards to the island, but what are they?
Dragon Ball has finally arrived in Fortnite, bringing plenty of exciting things to enjoy. From skins to loot, there’s a lot to enjoy here.
One of the many new additions is Versus Boards, which can be found across the Fortnite island. But you may not know what they do.
What Are Versus Boards in Fortnite x Dragon Ball?
Versus Boards are a new way to challenge a random opponent in Fortnite, revealing both players to each other.
If you think you’re stronger than other players, go up to a Versus Board and interact with it. This challenges a random opponent who also opted into a Versus Board. And, if you can find the Mythic ability, you can use this time to practice your Kamehameha abilities in Fortnite.
You’ll both be revealed to each other on the map, and one of you will have to claim victory within five minutes by defeating your rival.
The Versus Boards are part of the new quests, which you’ll need to complete to earn free rewards during Dragon Ball x Fortnite.

- South of Condo Canyon
- Shifty Shafts
- Lazy Lagoon

Once you’ve found a Versus Board, simply go up to it and press the interact button. This should be E on PC, X on Xbox, and Square on PlayStation. You’ll then be waiting for someone else to activate a Versus Board too.
If you manage to be put up against a player, the best way to travel to them quickly is by using the Mythic Nimbus Cloud item from Dragon Ball.
Where Have Bounty Boards Gone in Fortnite?
While Versus Boards are active in Fortnite, the Bounty Boards have been temporarily taken away.
Considering that they function similarly, it’s no surprise that Versus Boards have simply taken the place of the Bounty Boards.
When the event comes to a close, the new boards will be vaulted. After that, the Bounty Boards will make a return.
