Where Do You Find Slap Splashes in Fortnite?

Players can get Slap Splashes in Fortnite using the following methods:

  • Opening Coolers
  • Destroying Drones located in Hot Spots
  • Claiming a Point of Interest (POI)
  • Choosing the Splash Party Reality Augment
  • Unlocking Holo Chests using keys (Rare & Exotic)
  • Discovering and eliminating a Llama (Rare & Exotic)

Slap Splashes can come in two rarites, Rare and Exotic. Opening Holo Chests or discovering and destroying a Loot Llama are the only ways to acquire the Exotic Slap Splashes.

Best Way to Find Slap Splashes in Fortnite

From our testing, we found landing at a Hot Spot is the best way to get your hands on the Slap Splashes in Fortnite. These areas are visible on the map by the POI name being Gold.

Although acquiring Slap Splashes is not guaranteed, they are commonly found as drops from Supply Drones in these areas.

It’s important to note that Hot Spots tend to be highly contested zones, so we advise players to prioritize finding weapons and shields before attempting to destroy the drones.

What Are the Differences Between Rare & Exotic Slap Splashes in Fortnite?

Both the Rare and Exotic versions of Slap Splashes offer similar benefits, but there are differences in their effectiveness. Here are the specific attributes provided by each version:

  • Rare Slap Splash:
    • Health & Shield: 15 points.
    • Slap Duration: Lasts for 30 seconds.
    • Drops in stacks of 3 from Display Cases and 2 from Ground Loot.
  • Exotic Slap Splash:
    • Health & Shield: 30 points.
    • Slap Duration: Lasts for 60 seconds.
    • Drops in stacks of 6.

While both versions replenish health and shield, the Exotic Slap Splash provides a greater amount of health and shield compared to the Rare version.

Additionally, the Slap effect of the Exotic Slap Splash lasts twice as long, giving players an extended period of time to benefit from its effects.
