Data miners and Fortnite leakers have unearthed new information that is sure to get fans excited. Considering the last Live Event was more than half a year ago, fans are eager to learn when the next will be.
Fortunately, the information, which comes from reliable Fortnite leakers, reveals that the wait has been more than worth it!
Fortnite Open World Event Leaked for Chapter 5
Fortnite is currently working on a Live Event codenamed Arnold for Chapter 5 Season 1, which will be open-world, according to reliable Fortnite leakers.
Leakers iFireMonkey and Shiina, who have a strong track record of accurate leaks, have discovered files that pertain to this Live Event.
Several of the files had the word “Open World” in their name, alluding to the Live Event featuring some sort of open-world gameplay.
The Live Event, which will supposedly have 3 different acts, will also feature wildlife, including chickens and wolves.
Additionally, according to iFireMonkey, it will also have custom lobby animations.
The last Live Event happened during Chapter 3 Season 4, back in December 2022, and was called Fracture. It was the concluding event for Chapter 3 that led into the narrative of Chapter 4.
This isn’t the first time that an open-world mode has been leaked for Fortnite. Back in May 2021, HYPEX revealed that the Apple vs. Epic Games court documents referenced a map built for an “Open World Simulation Sandbox Mode.”
