The return of the Chapter 1 map is slowly creeping in as the developers have started to tease fans with an in-game Easter egg on the Mega City billboards.
Although leaks for a Chapter 1 return have been floating around for a while, there has been no confirmation as of yet.
However, there have been countless teases in the past few weeks. This latest one in Mega City seems to point towards the leaks being true!
Mega City Billboards Tease Fortnite Chapter 1 Return
Fortnite has updated the Mega City billboards to showcase the OG Fortnite sky and play the original lobby music. This is a direct teaser to the current rumors of the Chapter 1 map making a return.
The game’s creators are starting to give snippets of what to expect for the launch of the fifth season of Chapter 4, scheduled for November 3, 2023.
This now includes a change to the billboards, which you can see below:
Four billboards are scattered throughout this POI, all displaying the same background and playing the same music.

Furthermore, in the same update, numerous old props from the Chapter 1 Season 5 map have begun to resurface.
You can now discover items like chairs, tables, and even traffic cones, previously featured on that map, scattered throughout Frenzy Fields!
Chapter 4 Season 5 is set to be a massive season in Fortnite as players reportedly time travel to the old stomping grounds of the Chapter 1 map. As we grow closer to the next season, we are sure that more hints will start to drop!
