Fortnite x LEGO is officially happening and Epic Games is already paving the way forward by adding the option to sign in using your LEGO account.

In case you missed the big news, the long-awaited Fortnite crossover with LEGO is almost here. Rumor has it, we’ll be launching into a LEGO-themed season or event in Chapter 5, following the upcoming Fortnite OG live event.

And now it appears that Epic Games is making preparations for what could be the Battle Royale’s biggest collaboration yet.

Fortnite x LEGO Collaboration

LEGO Account Integration Is Here

Fortnite players have noticed that it is now possible to link your LEGO account with your Epic Games profile.

What’s more, you can even sign into the Epic launcher using your LEGO ID, should you wish.

Before this very moment, we didn’t know that LEGO accounts were even a thing. But as it turns out, they can be used for the following functions:

  • Earning points for purchasing sets and completing activities on
    • These can be spent on discounts, exclusive merch, special gifts and more
  • Receiving Members-only perks, such as exclusive gifts with select purchases
  • Check on orders or update wishlists
  • And now also signing into Epic Games!

We won’t lie, it looks a little unusual to see LEGO in the new sign-in screen alongside the titans that are Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Steam, Facebook, Google, and Apple.

But it makes sense that Epic wants to go all-out with this collab, particularly if some of the leaks we touch on below are true.

  1. First, either open the Epic Games launcher or website and sign into your Epic profile
  2. Then, select your account in the top right
  3. Click Account
  4. Head to Apps and Accounts
Connect LEGO account to Epic Games
  1. Then find LEGO Account and click Connect
  2. Sign into your LEGO ID and you’re good to go!

Everything We Know About Fortnite x LEGO

Fortnite’s LEGO collaboration is now officially confirmed, with a LEGO version of the Fortnite llama appearing both on LEGO’s social media and as part of the new live event promo image.

Here’s what we’ve heard about the upcoming collaboration from the substantial number of online leaks over the last few months:

  • Exclusive ‘Adventure With LEGO’ cosmetics to drop in the Item Shop
  • Will feature new LEGO-themed game modes
  • LEGO assets coming to Fortnite Creative, allowing users to build their own experiences
  • Minifigures will be playable in the new mode
  • Players will be able to create items using LEGO in the new building tool
  • Health and Energy may feature in the LEGO mode, and sleeping in a bed will restore both

We’d definitely take everything non-official with a pinch of salt for now. But we won’t have to wait long to see what Epic Games has in store for us, as the Fortnite live event is dropping later this week!
