Fortnite Fortnitemares 2022 – Start Date, Cosmetics, & More

It’s almost time for the Halloween celebrations to begin, with Fortnite’s Fortnitemares event starting soon in 2022. Here’s all of the information you need to know about the upcoming event!

The spooky season is approaching, which means Fortnitemares is coming back to Fortnite. For those who are unaware, we’ll cover what this event is.

If you’re a fan of Halloween, Fortnite events, or new cosmetics, Fortnitemares could be a great event for you to take part in.

Here’s everything we know about Fortnitemares 2022, including when it will start, as well as what to expect from the event.

Fortnite – What is Fortnitemares?

Fortnitemares is a seasonal event featuring Halloween and spooky changes to the game.

Fortnitemares have been some of the most exciting events to take part in during Fortnite, with major changes coming to the Island.

We’ve had bosses such as the Storm King arrive, as well as a shadow version of Midas. We’ve also had zombies and some iconic Halloween costumes join Fortnite such as the Ghostbusters.

While Fortnitemares can vary from year to year, it’s safe to assume there will be some free cosmetics with Fortnitemares quests, as well as some additions to the Item Shop and changes to general gameplay.

How Will Fortnitemares 2022 Relate to the Fortnite Lore?

While we’re unsure how it will tie into the Fortnite lore right now, we can make some assumptions based on recent leaks.

For example, the Chapter 3 Season 4 teaser that recently got shared, shows The Paradigm, one of The Seven in Fortnite, sinking into a strange goo-like substance.

And based on upcoming voice lines leaked for the last few quests of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, it seems all of The Seven will disappear.

We wouldn’t be surprised to see Fortnitemares progress the story of the missing Seven or the goo itself as part of the event.

When Will Fortnitemares 2022 Start in Fortnite?

Fortnitemares 2022 has a confirmed start date of October 18, 2022!

However, for Save the World players, Fortnitemares is already starting. Reportedly, Fortnitemare Llamas have already been appearing.

What Skins Will Return or Release in Fortnite Fortnitemares 2022?

We’ll likely see the return of skins like Frankenstein’s Monster, Hollowhead, Jack Gourdon, and more in Fortnitemares.

Alongside those, new skins will be coming with the release of Fortnitemares 2022. Expect to see other horror, or horror-adjacent characters make their release during Fortnitemares.
