The monthly Fortnite subscription service called Fortnite Crew offers players a lot, but is it worth the money?
Fortnite Crew began during Chapter 2 Season 5 in 2020. Since then, fans who have purchased this subscription service have received a number of unique cosmetics and more.
However, for those who are new to Fortnite or those who want to dip their toe into the Chapter 3 Season 4 Battle Pass, the Fortnite Crew subscription might be an enticing option.

What Is Fortnite Crew?
Fortnite Crew is a monthly subscription service within Fortnite itself that offers players an assortment of in-game items and rewards.
Much like Netflix or Xbox Game Pass, Fortnite will charge users a monthly fee. In return for the subscription, members will get cosmetics, V-Bucks, and more.
How Much Does the Fortnite Crew Subscription Cost?
The Fortnite Crew Subscription has a monthly cost of $11.99/£9.99/€11.99.
However, it is worth noting that the items within the Fortnite Crew Subscription cost significantly more when combined.
What Is Included in the Fortnite Crew Subscription?
The Fortnite Crew Subscription offers players three unique rewards on a monthly basis:
- Full access to the Battle Pass
- The Crew Pack
- 1,000 V-Bucks
The Crew Pack is by far the most unique item offered in the Fortnite Crew Subscription. It is an exclusive Outfit Bundle that offers players cosmetics that cannot be purchased anywhere else.
Within the Crew Pack, you will receive an exclusive Outfit and at least one accompanying accessory such as a Glider, Pickaxe, or Emote.

Of course, if you purchase the Fortnite Crew Subscription, you’ll also get access to the Battle Pass. This means you’ll also immediately unlock the first skin of that Battle Pass.
However, it is best to check out the new Battle Pass skins before making up your mind about Fortnite Crew.
How Do You Buy the Fortnite Crew Subscription?
The Fortnite Crew Subscription service can be purchased in the Item Shop:
- Go to the Item Shop in the main menu
- Scroll down until you find the Fortnite Crew section and select it
- If you want to know more details about what’s included, select their individual icons
- When you’re ready, select the Join Fortnite Crew option

Do You Lose Your Fortnite Crew Items if You Cancel Your Subscription?
No, you will not lose your Fortnite Crew items if you cancel your monthly subscription.
These are the items and perks you keep after canceling the Fortnite Crew:
- Any cosmetics you’ve gained through the Crew Pack
- 1,000 V-Bucks you gain from the subscription
- Battle Pass access until the end of the season and all of your progression on it
However, if you ask for a full refund on the Fortnite Crew Subscription, you will lose access to all of your Crew Pack cosmetics, Battle Pass, and the V-Bucks earned through the subscription.

Of course, should you choose to restart your subscription, you will resume getting the V-Bucks and Crew Pack Outfits.
Is the Fortnite Crew Subscription Worth It?
If you’re a fan of Fortnite or looking to get started, then the Fortnite Crew Subscription is absolutely worth it.
Simply from a monetary standpoint, the contents of the Fortnite Crew Subscription are worth more than the cost of entry.
For example, in order to get the Battle Pass, you’d need to buy 1,000 V-Bucks for $7.99/£6.49. The Fortnite Crew Subscription comes with 1,000 V-Bucks and the Battle Pass, which is roughly $16/£13.

That’s not even factoring in the Outfit pack that you get, which would cost around 2,000 V-Bucks, give or take.
If you want the Battle Pass and a sweet new Outfit, then the Fortnite Crew Subscription is the way to go.
