Fortunately, we’ve gotten quite a bit of confirmed information, with plenty of teases, leaks, and theories giving a clear picture of what players can expect from the new Season.

Fortnite Last Resort Chapter 4 Season 4 Start Date

Fortnite Last Resort Chapter 4 Season 4’s start date will be on Friday, August 25, 2023. This was confirmed by a post on the in-game news feed, which read, “Are You In? August 25.”

While the exact time is yet to be announced, the ongoing Jujutsu Kaisen event ends at 2AM ET on August 25.

Therefore, it is very likely that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will begin around:

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Trailer

The first trailer for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, Last Resort, has finally been revealed. It features the Battle Pass characters infiltrating Kado Thorne’s compound and attempting to steal his artifacts.

It also gives players a glimpse at the rumored Ahsoka Tano skin, which the trailer officially confirms will be in the game at the very end.

Fortnite Last Resort Chapter 4 Season 4 Theme

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is called Last Resort and will seemingly have a “heist” theme, according to a recent post on the official Fortnite X, formerly Twitter, account.

The post, which reads “Cameras, guards, vaults, and the best team in the business. Are you in?” definitely seems to be alluding to a heist-orientated theme for the latest Season.

This has been further confirmed by Vice President and Co-Founder of Epic Games, Mark Rein, who recently responded to a question asking for a one-word description of the new Season with “heist.”

This isn’t too dissimilar to Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2’s theme, which focused on spies and espionage. It launched over three years ago on February 20, 2020.

Prominent Fortnite leakers, including iFireMonkey and HYPEX, have claimed that there are a number of returning and new weapons and items coming to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, including:

It is possible that Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will see the return of Midas. Many believe that the Drum Gun, Midas’ weapon of choice, that appears in the initial Chapter 4 Season 4 teaser image alludes to this.

However, it is also possible that the Drum Gun is connected to Jules, Midas’ daughter, who recently appeared in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 as Scrapknight Jules.

Additionally, Fortnite Chapter 4 will introduce a new character called Kado Thorne.

They are a mysterious thief who was recently involved in a promotional stunt in which Fortnite influencers had an item stolen from them by Thorne, who left them a card thanking them for adding to their collection.

Kado Thorne is likely a Battle Pass character and a central figure in the Chapter 4 Season 4 storyline. You can see what he looks like in the tweet below:

Another skin was revealed on Fortnite’s official X page, although details surrounding who it could be are scarce.

The only clues we have are the description of the Tweet, which says “Light-fingered or perhaps a more elegant weapon?”

Competitive Fortnite player PWR Lachlan was given an image of a Battle Pass character from Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 shared by Epic Games.

Another unnamed skin has been revealed on X, showcasing a silhouetted figure with large arms and torso, which many believe to be a buff Fishsticks reskin.

A skin based on the popular TikTok influencer, Khaby Lame, has also been revealed to be a part of the Fortnite Last Resort Chapter 4 Season 4.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 Leaks

Fortnite leaker HYPEX leaked a number of other aspects potentially coming to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4, including:

  • A Halloween event “Vampire” Boss will be added
    • Not related to the main theme of the Season
  • The “Escape Artists” Skins might be coming back
  • There will be an unknown Boss found in Radio Towers
  • Henchmen can be found patrolling in Armored Cars and Radio Towers
  • Ocean’s Bottomless Chug Jug and C4s will return
  • New Thermal-Toggle Sniper and Backpack Minigun weapons will be added
  • New vehicles, including Nitro Fang, Helicopters with launchers and Armored Cars

However, HYPEX stresses that any one of them could be removed or delayed prior to the new Season’s launch.
