If you haven’t already, you’ll want to complete the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass and unlock all its unique skins, including several video game characters, before the season ends!

What Time Does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Start?

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is starting on Friday, March 10, 2023. The downtime for Season 2 starts at 2 AM ET on March 10.

There is currently no exact start time when players can expect to get started in the new Season. However, it will likely begin a few hours after the downtime starts.

You still have time before Season 1 ends to complete a series of quests and unlock the exclusive Geralt of Rivia skin.

Everything Coming in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2

Of course, it is worth noting that none of this is officially confirmed by Epic Games. However, this information comes from prominent leakers, such as Shiina and HYPEX, with trustworthy track records.

New Theme & Setting

According to leaks, fans can expect an entirely new theme for Chapter 4 Season 2. Instead of medieval villages and castles, players will explore a “futuristic-Japanese” setting.

While Epic hasn’t confirmed it, leakers have decrypted Season 2 teaser posters which seem to confirm the Neo-Tokyo theme.

New Battle Pass/Skins

Of course, with each new Season comes a brand new battle pass for players to progress through. Chapter 4 Season 2’s Battle Pass skins have already been discovered by leakers.

Some of the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass skins have already been leaked, including the Tier 100 skin and another lizard-type one.

An image containing what the Battle Pass skins might look like was leaked by Shiina and HYPEX. So far, two of them have been leaked, so it seems fairly accurate.

Of course, fans should also expect to see exclusive new Fortnite Crew skins each month throughout Chapter 4 Season 2.

First-Person Mode

After being rumored for quite some time, it seems like an official first-person mode is coming to the Fortnite Battle Royale mode.

This will allow players to enjoy Fortnite from an entirely new perspective and hopefully bring in a new cohort of fans.

If you’re excited for the new first-person mode, you can read about it in more detail here.

New POIs

Chapter 4 Season 2 is also set to introduce new POIs, according to leakers, which will replace the current roster of POIs.

These will correspond to the new futuristic-Japanese theme and could potentially include Cyber Dragon, Dojo, Hot Springs, Neon City, and more.

More Star Wars Collaborations

There have been several Star Wars collaborations in Fortnite in the past, which introduced new skins for iconic characters, new lightsaber weapons, and Star Wars-themed mechanics.

Apparently, another Star Wars collaboration is set to happen, only this time it’s introducing Force Powers as a useable wepaon.

Attack on Titan Crossover

Rumors surrounding an Attack on Titan crossover have been around for a while now, but according to Shiina and HYPEX, it is finally happening in Chapter 4 Season 2.

The protagonist of Attack on Titan, Eren Yeager, is set to join the Chapter 4 Season 2 Battle Pass as an unlockable skin.

Resident Evil 4 Crossover

The Resident Evil 4 remake is due on March 24, 2023, so it’s no surprise that leakers strongly believe that a collaboration with Fortnite is incoming.

According to the leaks, Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield are due to join the Fortnite roster of skins in Chapter 4 Season 2, likely before the remake’s launch.

New/Returning Weapons

Unsurprisingly, there’s a very good chance that new weapons will be added in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. These could include a Katana, amongst other Japanese-themed weapons.

Additionally, according to leakers, a handful of weapons may return, including the Pump Shotgun. Hopefully, the best weapons from Chapter 4 Season 1 will stick around a little longer.

New Augments

Reality augments are a huge part of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 and look set to carry over into the next Season.

According to leakers, more Legendary augments are set to be introduced, including one that reboots you when you die.

Like the best weapons, we hope some of the most overpowered augments make an appearance in Season 2 as well.

Futuristic Bikes

It appears that a new mode of transport called “Futuristic Bikes” are also being added to Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 as well.

Whether or not these “Futuristic Bikes” will replace the current dirt bikes or be added alongside them, but it wouldn’t be surprising if they replaced them all together to better match this season’s proposed theme.

New NPCs

Finally, fans can expect to see a handful of new NPCs appear around the map in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2.

These may include CRZ-8, NeuraLynx, and P33LY, all of which would perfectly fit into the futuristic-Japanese aesthetic. Of course, this will likely mean that some of the current NPCs will be removed.
