The Battle Royale and Zero Build modes are easily two of the most popular in Fortnite. However, up until now, it was difficult to tell which one had the higher play count.

Fortunately, Epic Games have added a live player count to every mode in Fortnite, allowing fans to see just how many people are in each one at any given time.

Of course, no matter which mode you end up choosing, you’ll still want the best tips and tricks available to help you win that victory royale.

Yes, the Fortnite Battle Royale mode is more popular than Zero Build, as it has a consistently higher concurrent player base.

The player base for the Battle Royale mode frequently sits above the 300K player mark, whereas the Zero Build mode is typically between 150 and 250K.

Other users have reported similar figures across multiple days, including Fortnite content creator iFireMonkey. They saw the Battle Royale player count at 389.44K, but the Zero Build player count only at 239.96K.

Of course, ultimately, it’s all down to your own personal preference. However, if you’re not a fan of building, then make sure you use the best guns in Fortnite Zero Build to give yourself the edge.

  • Creative – 15.16K
  • Team Rumble – 6.75K
  • Party Royale – 3.53K
This was accurate as of 03/30/2023

However, with Fortnite Creative 2.0 finally here, players can check out some incredibly stunning new maps, unlike anything they’ve seen before.
