Diablo 4 players are experiencing issues with their game where an error code saying “Unable to Find a Valid License” pops up.
This was an issue that many players experienced back when the game first launched, but it was mostly because the servers hadn’t officially launched yet.
This seems to periodically show up, particularly after major updates now.
It is frustrating because it prevents you from accessing a game that you already paid for, but thankfully there are ways to fix this issue.
Diablo 4 Error Code 315306 Fix – Unable to Find a Valid License
The most common fix for Error Code 315306, “Unable to Find a Valid License,” is to restart your system or wait for the Blizzard servers to return to normal.
This error code is usually an issue that is caused by the Diablo 4 servers entering an unstable state and not recognizing your game’s license.
Players can always check to see if Blizzard is going through server issues from their official Blizzard CS Twitter account.
However, if the issues still persist then there are some fixes you can try depending on the platform you game on:
PC
- Check to make sure that you have the most recent Battle.net version installed.
- Delete and reinstall Battle.net and Diablo 4.

Xbox Series X|S
- Delete and reinstall Diablo 4.

PS5
- Navigate to your ‘Settings.”
- Head to the “Users and Accounts” tab.
- Choose “Other.”
- Select “Restore Licenses.”
- Choose “Restore” and wait for the process to finish.
- Delete and reinstall Diablo 4.

Some players reported that adding a PS Plus title to their library and then trying to re-launch Diablo would fix the effect.
Thankfully, this isn’t an issue that should persist on your account. Once the servers are back online, everything should sort itself out independently.
