Cyberpunk 2077 is full of incredible secrets to discover, and players are just now finding some of the best easter eggs that the game has to offer. Now, we discover that it's possible to find GLaDOS hidden away in a Cyberpunk 2077 side mission.
Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System (A.K.A. GLaDOS) is one of the most iconic characters in gaming history. Originally created for Valve's Portal franchise, GLaDOS has made appearances in Lego Dimensions, Death Stranding, and more.
Now it seems that Cyberpunk 2077 is the latest game to contain a reference to the evil testing advocate. In fact, players can find a unique GLaDOS Easter egg simply by completing one of the game's side quests.
GLaDOS will quote a series of famous lines at the player upon discovery and, of course, there's a reference to the iconic 'Cake is a Lie' scene.
Where to Find GLaDOS in Cyberpunk 2077
To find GLaDOS in Cyberpunk 2077, players will need to reach Act 2 of the game. For reference, this is right after Keanu Reeves (A.K.A Johnny Silverhand) starts showing up.
Now that the first Cyberpunk 2077 patch is here and fixing issues, more players will finally be able to encounter GLaDOS for themselves. If you're still encountering issues, check out our Cyberpunk 2077 - How To guide for additional help.
A 'Very Low' threat side mission will appear in your Journal, involving going to pick up V's car from the garage. Upon getting in your vehicle, it will immediately be hit by a rogue Delamain AI.
This will lead to players heading to the Delamain HQ and beginning the Epistrophy sidequest. In it, you must track down all the lost Delamain vehicles, each with their own tasks to accomplish.
But heading to the car found in Coastview, where players will later meet the Voodoo Boys, will lead to an interesting Easter egg. The Delamain AI in this car is none other than GLaDOS, and she's more than happy to lead you into a trap.
How to Complete the GLaDOS Easter Egg in Cyberpunk 2077
Once encountered, GLaDOS is easy enough to deal with. Simply follow the Delamain car and listen to an array of voice lines taken straight from the Portal franchise.
The villainous AI promises that she has a surprise for you before, as ever, leading you into a trap. Dispatch the enemies that GLaDOS produces, and she'll tell you that she hates you.
"Here come the test results... You are a horrible person," GLaDOS will inform you. "I'm serious, that's what it says - a horrible person. We weren't even testing for that."
If you're wondering about why GLaDOS doesn't appear to actually converse with V, it's because all lines are ripped straight from the original Portal games. It would be nice to hear some unique GLaDOS content, but it's still an incredible Easter egg to come across.
Portal isn't the only popular franchise to get a shout out in Cyberpunk 2077. In fact, Cyberpunk 2077 players can find the Witcher's sword in-game too - although this is a far more predictable cameo.
Although the game has undoubtedly been a financial success, CD Projekt's stock prices are falling. Many players believe this to be due to the broken nature of the game, as Cyberpunk 2077 is unplayable on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
