The World Cup Path to Glory promotion will be the first promo of FIFA 23’s World Cup schedule!
The months of November and December are going to be packed with new promotions due to the 2022 Qatar World Cup and the first promotion is not too far away!
The Path to Glory is a returning promotion from previous FIFA’s. Here’s how it works and when it will be available.
How Does Path to Glory Work in FIFA 23?
The Path to Glory promotion will feature a squad of dynamic upgradeable player items. These players will be from nations that participate in the 2022 World Cup.
These items will upgrade based on how well their nation does at the tournament!
Path to Glory players will receive upgrades based on the following criteria:
- Initial Campaign Launch Boost
- Qualify from Group Stage – +1 Inform Upgrade
- Win Round of 16 – +1 Inform Upgrade
- Win Quarter Final – 5* Weak Foot Upgrade
- Win Semi-Final – 5* Skill Moves Upgrade
- Win the Final – +1 Inform Upgrade & 3 new Traits
If a player already has 5* Star Weak Foot or Skill Moves, they will receive an extra + Inform upgrade instead!
Path to Glory Card Design
The Path to Glory card design features a burgundy red, the color on the Qatar flag, as well as snippets of a greenish-blue splattered throughout!
It also features the World Cup logo and text at the top!
FIFA 23 Path to Glory Release Date
The Path to Glory promotion will release on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT. This is the same release date as the World Cup Swaps system.
