FIFA 23 TOTW 25 Predictions

Starting XI

Michele Di Gregorio – GK – 83 → 86

6 Saves & Clean Sheet / 1-0 win against Inter / 7.8 WhoScored match rating

The Italian goalkeeper made six saves throughout the 90 minutes to deny Inter from scoring. His heroics meant when Caldirola scored; it gave Monza all three points.

Jawad El Yamiq – CB – 75 → 83

1 Goal / 2-1 win against Villareal / 7.9 WhoScored match rating

The center-back was on the scoresheet as his side returned with all three points. Despite no clean sheet, the lack of high-rated defenders makes him a likely item in TOTW 25.

Nacho Fernandez – CB → RB – 82 → 85

1 Goal & Clean Sheet / 2-0 win against Cadiz / 8.2 WhoScored match rating

The Spanish defender performed exceptionally on both ends of the pitch. Nacho not only scored but kept a clean sheet too.

John Stones – CB – 83 → 86

1 Goal / 3-1 win against Leicester City / 7.6 WhoScored match rating

This pick is a bit of a punt, as there are not many standout performances by defenders this week. Stones only played the first half but was able to score himself a goal.

Vitinha – CM – 79 → 84

1 Goal & 1 Assist / 3-1 win against RC Lens / 8.1 WhoScored match rating

Kylian Mbappe was the star of this game, but Vitinha was a close second. Unfortunately for Mbappe, his one goal and assist is not enough, but for his midfield teammate, it very well could be.

Gus Til – CAM → CM – 76 → 83

2 Goals & 1 Assist / 3-2 win against FC Volendam / 8.5 WhoScored match rating

The Dutch midfielder was in excellent form as he got the scoresheet twice. He also helped his side by getting an assist.

William Carvalho – CDM → CAM – 83 → 86

1 Goal / 3-1 win against Espanyol / 8.5 WhoScored match rating

Known more for his defensive contributions, Carvalho played a number 10 role, according to WhoScored. The position change seemed to work as he scored a goal.

Alexandr Golovin – LM – 82 → 85

1 Goal / 3-1 win against Lorient / 7.5 WhoScored match rating

The Monaco wideman scored his side’s second goal of the game. With few high-rated players this week, Golovin may be chosen to boost the overall of the team.

Ollie Watkins – ST – 78 → 84

2 Goals & 1 Assist / 3-0 win against Newcastle / 9.7 WhoScored match rating

Under Unai Emery, Watkins is in the best form of his Villa career. The Englishman put on a monstrous performance against the best defense in the league and will likely get a TOTW item.

Timo Werner – ST – 84 → 87

2 Goals & 1 Assist / 3-2 win against Augsburg / 9.2 WhoScored match rating

The German attacker was on fire as he brought his side back from being 1-0 down. Werner had a hand in every goal, and a TOTW item is expected.

Antony – RW – 82 → 85

1 Goal & 1 Assist / 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest / 8.2 WhoScored match rating

The Brazilian has had a tough start to life in England but put on one of his best performances of the year. Antony scored his first goal in the league since September.

FIFA 23 TOTW 25 Predictions Starting XI

Bench

Sinan Bolat – GK – 73 → 83

11 Saves & Clean Sheet / 0-0 draw against Club Bruges / 9.4 WhoScored match rating

The Moroccan keeper made an impressive 11 saves throughout this match. His opponents had an incredible expected goals (xG) of 3 but failed to score.

Josh Vagnoman – RB → RWB – 71 → 81

1 Goal & 1 Assist / 3-3 draw against Dortmund / 7.9 WhoScored match rating

The German wing-back was a crucial part of Stuttgart’s last-minute equalizer, and his pass assisted Silas for the goal. He did not only assist but also scored earlier in the game to make it 2-2.

Eberechi Eze – CAM → CM – 76 → 83

2 Goals / 2-0 win against Southampton / 9.2 WhoScored match rating

Crystal Palace will likely survive relegation now, thanks to two goals from Eze. The midfielder’s second goal was beautiful as he skipped past the Saints’ midfield to fire a low shot from 25 yards out into the bottom corner.

Todd Cantwell – LM → CAM – 74 → 83

1 Goal & 2 Assists / 5-2 win against St Mirren / 9.4 WhoScored match rating

The Rangers midfielder was in fine form as he made three goal contributions for his team. His goal was the first of the game.

Jeremy Doku – RW – 75 → 83

2 Goals / 3-0 win against Reims / 9.4 WhoScored match rating

The Belgian winger was on the scoresheet twice as Rennes won 3-0. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he were selected as the featured TOTW.

Dominic Solanke – ST – 75 → 83

1 Goal & 2 Assists / 3-2 win against Tottenham / 8.6 WhoScored match rating

Dominic Solanke secured a vital three points in the Premier League relegation battle as he led the way for his side. The striker scored and assisted two other goals, including a 94th-minute winner.

Mauro Icardi – ST – 81 → 85

3 Goals & 1 Assist / 6-0 win against Kayserispor / 10 WhoScored match rating

The Argentinian striker scored three goals and assisted another in their 6-0 rout. An inform item for Icardi should be included in the next Team of the Week.

Reserves

Zinho Gano – ST – 78 → 84

3 Goals / 5-1 win against Eupen / 10 WhoScored match rating

It is usually a simple decision to include a player who has scored a hat trick. However, in this game, Gano scored three goals while his teammate Vormer assisted three and scored one.

Despite this, we selected Gano as his item would be higher rated, but it should be no surprise if Vormer is included instead.

Amahl Pellegrino – LW – 72 → 82

3 Goals / 4-0 win against Stabaek / 8.8 WhoScored match rating

The Norwegian winger scored three goals as his side won 4-0. He is undoubtedly a strong contender for TOTW.

Jack Marriot – ST – 68 → 81

3 Goals / 5-2 win against Accrington Stanley / 10 WhoScored match rating

The Fleetwood attacker scored a hattrick making him one of the likelier players to feature in TOTW 25.

Conor Chaplin – RW → CAM – 67 → 81

3 Goals / 6-0 win against Charlton / 9.7 WhoScored match rating

The midfielder scored three goals making his inclusion in the next Team of the Week a strong possibility.

Alexander Bernhardsson – RW – 61 → 79

3 Goals / 5-0 win against Brommapojkarna / 10 SofaScore match rating

There have been a lot of hattricks by low-rated players in FIFA 23 this week, which may hamper Bernhardsson’s chances. However, we can not ignore a player who scored three goals which is why he made our prediction.
