Here are the 23 players we believe will make the second Team of the Week in FIFA 23.

Starting XI

GK: Kasper Schmeichel 83 > 85: The Dane made seven saves in a 2-0 win over the World Champions France. Denying Mbappé and co. is no easy task so expect the OGC Nice man to feature.

CB: Virgil van Dijk 90 > 91: Van Dijk scored the only goal of the game and kept a clean sheet. The Dutch captain guided his side to a 1-0 over Belgium.

RB: Diogo Dalot 78 > 84*: The Manchester United defender scored twice as his nation eased their way in a 4-0 win over the Czech Republic. The full-back, who is this week’s prediction for the featured TOTW, is likely to appear, and it would be a surprise if he didn’t.

CB: Manuel Akanji 81 > 84: Premier League defenders are taking over the TOTW 2 predictions and Akanji is amongst them. The centre back scored and assisted in a 2-1 win over Spain.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci 84 > 86: The Juventus captain assisted the only goal of the game against England. An assist and a clean sheet should see the Azzuri defender make the squad.

CM: Mateus Uribe 81 > 84: With not a whole host of midfield options to choose from this week, the Porto midfielder’s 2 assists against Guatemala could be enough to secure his place in the team.

LW > CAM: Neymar 89 > 90: The Brazilian assisted twice in a 3-0 win against Ghana. The winger started as part of a midfield three.

CAM: Dominik Szoboszlai 79 > 82: The Hungarian assisted the only goal of the game against Germany. His side continued to surprise in the Nations League in Leipzig with a 1-0 win.
