Can’t decide which edition of FIFA 23 to purchase? Well, here are all the main differences between the FIFA 23 Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition.

It’s always a tough decision when deciding between a standard version of a game or going for the more expensive editions with all of the bonuses.

Sometimes the bonuses are worth it, but other times they can be things you won’t use much yourself.

Here we’ll compare every FIFA 23 edition to see which is best for you.

FIFA 2023 PRE ORDER

FIFA 23 Pre-Order Bonuses

If you’re thinking about waiting until FIFA 23 goes on sale to purchase it, then you might miss out on these pre-order bonuses for both the Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition:

  • 1 FUT Team of the Week player
  • 5-game Mbappé Loan Item
  • 3-game FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick
    • You can choose between Davies, Son, and Vinicíus Jr for 3 matches.

These pre-order bonuses will be usable in the newly revamped FIFA 23 Ultimate Team mode.

FIFA 23 Standard Edition

The FIFA 23 Standard Edition is available for:

  • PS4/Xbox One – $59.99
  • PS5/Xbox Series X/PC/Stadia – $69.99

The Standard Edition includes:

  • FIFA 23 Base Game
    • FIFA 23 for the platform of your choice.
    • You will not be able to upgrade to the next-gen with this edition. So if you buy a PS4/Xbox One copy, then you’ll need to repurchase on PS5/Xbox Series X.
  • Career Mode Homegrown Talent
    • This is a local youth prospect with world-class potential that players can use to improve their career team.

FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition

The FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition is available for $99.99 on all platforms.

The Ultimate Edition includes:

  • Dual Entitlement
  • Ones to Watch Player Item for FIFA 23 Ultimate Team

  • Everything in the Standard Edition

Both editions will include all of the pre-order bonuses if purchased before FIFA 23 officially releases. You can check out our official countdown for FIFA 23’s release date here.
