What Are Shapeshifters in FIFA 23?

Shapeshifters is a promotion where EA Sports release FUT items in positions they are not known to play. For example, they could give an LB a special item but will make his position an ST while giving him the attributes to fit that role.

Additionally, there is a premium Shapeshifter item which will get full chemistry if they are playing the correct position, no matter who is in the team. They also provided a bonus league chemistry point similar to FUT Heroes.

To identify if an item is a premium Shapeshifter look for the crown symbole at the top of the item design.
