As we kick off February 2020, EA has revealed the list of nominees for the FIFA 20 January POTM. The FUT Premier League Player of the Month is an award that provides the best player of the month a special upgraded FUT card. You can unlock the card through an SBC, which will be available for a limited time.
EA Sports has selected a total of seven players this month, all of whom have performed extremely well. Fans have the option to vote for who they think deserves the award best out of all of the nominees. We have included the entire list of nominees below, so you can make up your mind on who you’re voting for.
It doesn’t come as much of a surprise to see Aguero added to the mix. The Manchester City player achieved a total of 6 goals for his team, while also getting 1 assist.
During the 203 minutes Aguero played in the month of January, he managed to strike a total of 14 shots. 6 of these shots went into the net, meaning he has had a pretty high conversion rate. It’s also worth noting that he had an 81% pass accuracy, so there’s no doubt Aguero is a likely contender for the FIFA 20 January POTM.

Alisson played exceptionally well over the course of January 2020. Out of a total of 5 games in the Premier League, he managed to keep 4 clean sheets for Liverpool. Not only this, but he also managed to acquire 16 saves, maintain a passing accuracy of 83%, and even get an assist under his belt.
Doucoure played a whopping total of 356 minutes last month. From his defensive position, he managed to gather 2 goals and 1 assist.
Although this isn’t as impressive as the other candidates, you have to bear in mind that he is a central defensive midfielder.
Grealish scored 2 goals during the 360 minutes he played. He also managed to get a passing accuracy of 84% and a total of 6 shots.
It’s fair to say Jack Grealish isn’t going to get the award, but you have to still admire his impressive performance.
Henderson played the most out of all of the nominees, although only managed to get 1 goal and 1 assist during that time. Regardless of that, Henderson’s passing was exceptional over the course of January, with an accuracy rate of 89%.
It’s fair to say he’s not a likely candidate for the upcoming award, but it was a pretty impressive month for him nonetheless.
The Leicester City forward scored a total of 3 goals out of his 9 shots. Perez also got an assist, but is that really going to be enough for the award?
Last but not least, Jack Stephens achieved 2 assists from CB. He also managed to make a whopping total of 13 vital clearances and 4 tackles. His passing accuracy was 66%, even though it’s not as good as the other nominees, it’s still pretty decent.
