One of the highlights of the Pokemon GO 7th Anniversary Party event are the brand-new Field Research Tasks, as they will give you encounters with iconic Pokemon.

Pokemon GO’s 2023 birthday celebration is all about classic Pokemon from the series, and this is reflected in the new Field Research Tasks. There are a whopping nine of them to complete, and the rewards for finishing them include encounters with starter Pokemon and Mega Energy for the Gen 1 and 2 starters.

Spinning a PokeStop during the 7th Anniversary Party event (from 10 AM local time on July 6 to 8 PM local time on July 12, 2023) could give you one of the nine new limited-time Field Research Tasks.
