Part 1 of the Pokemon GO Halloween event has added five new Field Research Tasks and, of course, the rewards include spooky Pokemon!
In addition to encounters with Phantump and Misdreavus, you can also get Misdreavus Candy and Poke Balls for completing these short-but-sweet missions.
Spinning a PokeStop or Gym Photo Disc during Part 1 of the 2023 Pokemon GO Halloween event (from 10 AM local time on October 19 to 10 AM local time on October 26) could give you a limited-time event Field Research Task.
These are all of the event Field Research Tasks for Pokemon GO Halloween Part 1:

If you are lucky, you can get the shiny versions of both Misdreavus and Phantump as your Field Research rewards. However, the odds of either of these Pokemon being shiny are around 0.2%.
This possibility is especially exciting as shiny Phantump has only just come to the game! It has only been available since the start of Part 1 of the 2023 Halloween event!
As always, if you want to get rid of a Field Research Task to make room for more, you can. All you need to do is press the trash can button in the top right corner of the Task.
This will allow you to pick up more Tasks and, hopefully, get a few more you like!
