Since its release, FIFA Ultimate Team has only featured players from the men’s game; however, in EA Sports FC, that is all set to change as women join the mode, according to leaks.
This will significantly change the most popular mode in EA’s football games, with players like Sam Kerr and Alex Morgan lining up alongside Messi.
Women Are Being Added to Ultimate Team
FUTSheriff, a trustworthy source for FIFA, has revealed that female players can play alongside male players. According to the insider, male and female players can participate on the same team without any separation.
Ultimate Team squads will now have more options. Players like Alexis Putellas, a Balon d’Or winner, will become viable contenders for your midfield and potentially pair up with ICONs of the game, such as Xavi.
This news came out after EA Sports made a significant effort to increase the number of female players and clubs in the game over the years.
In the March 23, 2023 update, FIFA 23 added the NWSL and UEFA Women’s Champions League as free DLC. They are the primary female league in the USA and the most prominent women’s tournament in Europe.
Furthermore, EA Sports FC will feature the top division for women in France, D1 Arkema. On top of all that, Sam Kerr recently became the first woman to feature on the cover of FIFA when she starred alongside Mbappe in FIFA 23.
The above demonstrates the developer’s commitment to incorporating more women’s content in the game.

As we approach EA Sports FC’s reveal, we anticipate how the integration of female players will unfold.
Will female and male players share the same TOTW squads, or will they have separate ones? It remains to be seen.
