For the first time, female football players will receive TOTY items in Ultimate Team, and we have predictions lined up for the FC 24 Women’s Team of the Year!

It has been a historic year, mainly due to the introduction of the female leagues in Ultimate Team. Many of these players have been part of the meta, and we predict these items will be sensational!

We can’t wait to see who makes the team, even if we have some idea of those that will be included. So, let’s get into the predictions.

Predictions

Here are our predictions for the FC 24 Women’s TOTY:

Defenders

Mary Earps (Manchester United & England)

The Manchester United goalkeeper had a phenomenal year. She won the Women’s Finalissima against Brazil, and later, in 2023, she was voted the best keeper at the World Cup.

Additionally, she came 5th in the Balon d’Or rankings.

Fridolina Rolfö (FC Barcelona & Sweden)

There will be many FC Barcelona players in this prediction, and Rolfö is our first pick. With the Catalan club winning the Champions League, they will dominate these selections.

However, the Swedish defender scored the winning goal to return the title to Spain.

Mapi León (FC Barcelona & Spain)

Once again, Mapi León was a crucial part of Barcelona’s Champions League triumph, and we suspect she will be one of the players voted in.

Irene Paredes is another option, but León has a better Ultimate Team item, and will likely be more popular.

Millie Bright (Chelsea & England)

The Lionesses had a great 2023, but they will ultimately remember it for losing in the World Cup final. Millie Bright was a crucial part of the Chelsea side that won the Women’s Super League, while she was also the rock at the back for England.

Olga Carmona (Real Madrid & Spain)

The Real Madrid defender was a mainstay in the Spain squad that lifted the women’s World Cup, with her goal in the final securing the prize.

Her performances won 6th place in the Balon d’Or, the second highest of any defender, only behind Rolfö.

Midfielders

Alexia Putellas (FC Barcelona & Spain)

Alexia Putellas is known to many as one of the best female players in the world. However, her 2023 has been riddled with injuries.

With her FC 24 item being overpowered and winning the Champions League and World Cup, we don’t see her missing out.

Aitana Bonmatí (FC Barcelona & Spain)

It would be a real shock if the Balon d’Or 2023 winner were left out. This is a guaranteed selection in our FC 24 FC 24 Women’s TOTY Predictions.

Keira Walsh (FC Barcelona & England)

Keira Walsh was a vital member of the Barca side that gained European prestige in the Champions League and was essential to the England side that made the World Cup final.

Caroline Graham Hansen (FC Barcelona & Norway)

Hansen is a popular FC 24 Ultimate Team item, but she also won the Champions League, so this pick is a mix of merit and popularity.

We suspect she makes the team because she is overpowered.

Sam Kerr (Chelsea FC & Australia)

Sam Kerr was voted the second-best player in the world in the Balon d’Or. She was a vital member of the Chelsea squad that won the Women’s Super League.

We will be surprised if she is omitted.

Salma Paralluelo (FC Barcelona & Spain)

Salma Paralluelo has the Champions League and World Cup trophies on her resume for 2023. This led to her getting third in the Balon d’Or.

She certainly deserves a TOTY item in FC 24.

Here are the expected FC 24 Women’s TOTY release dates, according to reliable insiders who also got the voting date correct:

  • TOTY begins on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT
    • The Attackers, Midfielders, and Defenders will be released in batches over a week. At the moment, this is just speculation, but we suspect the rollout to be similar to that of the men in past games.
  • Full TOTY release on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT
