After a bit of a hiatus, we have returned with our TOTW predictions, and this time, we are attempting to guess who will make Team of the Week 19 in FC 24.

With half of the Premier League teams not playing and the French sides competing in the Coupe de France, the pool of available matches is a lot smaller.

Nonetheless, there are still plenty of games to look through, and we are sure there will be some standout picks.

Predictions

Here are the predictions for the FC 24 TOTW 19 Starting XI and Bench:

Starting XI

Manuel Riemann – GK – 81 → 85

5 Saves & Clean Sheet / 1-0 win vs Stuttgart / 7.9 WhoScored match rating

The German is one of the only standout options this week, and with just five saves, we don’t really feel confident in this pick.

Nonetheless, we couldn’t find any other choices.

Gabriel – CB – 84 → 86

1 Goal & Clean Sheet / 5-0 win against Crystal Palace / 8.0 WhoScored match rating

The Brazilian could have had two goals, but his second of the day was ultimately deemed an own goal. However, he still had a big hand in creating it.

With a clean sheet, a goal, and an assist (he more or less got the assist for the own goal), he has a strong case for TOTW 19.

Álex Grimaldo – LWB – 87 → 88

2 Assists / 3-2 win against RB Leipzig / 8.6 WhoScored match rating

Grimaldo picked up two assists, which included a crucial 91st-minute pass for the game’s winner. His assist will be vital in the Bundesliga title race.

Mitchell Weiser – RB → RWB – 77 → 83

1 Goal & Clean Sheet / 1-0 win against Bayern Munich / 8.6 WhoScored match rating

Not every week does Bayern Munich lose, and Mitchell Weiser was a significant factor in them doing so this weekend. Playing as a wingback, the German defender got himself on the scoresheet to secure all three points.

Szymon Żurkowski – CM – 74 → 83

3 Goals / 3-0 win against Monza / 9.4 WhoScored match rating

The Polish midfielder scored a hattrick, almost certainly making his way into TOTW 19. It will be a shock if EA Sports omits him.

Vincenzo Grifo – LM – 82 → 85

1 Goal & 1 Assist / 3-2 win against Hoffenheim / 8.6 WhoScored match rating

The Italian got two contributions as Freiburg picked up all three points. He also got the highest match rating

Ángel Di María – CF → RM – 83 → 86

1 Goal & 1 Assist / 2-0 win against Boavista / 8.9 WhoScored match rating

The Argentinian had a hand in both of Benfica’s goals as they secured all three points against Boavista. He is a likely contender.

Lauren James – RW → CAM – 86 → 87

3 Goals / 3-1 win against Manchester United / 9.3 WhoScored match rating

The English attacker dropped deeper into a No.10 role and produced a hattrick against her former club. She is 100% an option for TOTW 19.

Diogo Jota – CF → RW – 85 → 86

2 Goals & 1 Assist / 4-0 win against Bournemouth / 9.9 WhoScored match rating

Although he started the game down the middle, it was when he got switched out wide that Jota began to shine. The Portuguese attacker scored twice and assisted another as Liverpool ran riot at the Vitality.

Wilfried Zaha – LW → ST – 85 → 86

2 Goals & 1 Assist / 5-1 win against Trabzonspor / 10 WhoScored match rating

The Ivorian was on fire as he got three goal contributions and a perfect match rating per WhoScored. He is undoubtedly a strong TOTW option

Ferran Torres – LW – 82 → 85

3 Goals & 1 Assist / 4-2 win against Real Betis / 9.8 WhoScored match rating

The Spanish attacker scored a hattrick as well as a 90-minute assist, which ultimately won his club the game.

FC 24 TOTW 19 Predictions Starting XI

Bench

Ben Mee – CB – 79 → 84

1 Goal / 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest / 8.1 WhoScored match rating

While this game will be known for Ivan Toney’s return, Ben Mee was also exceptional. The defender was on the scoresheet and was defensively solid at the back.

Wendell – LB – 76 → 83

2 Goals / 5-0 win against Moreirense / 8.7 WhoScored match rating

Wendell picked up two goals from left-back as Porto trashed Moreirense 5-0. Alan Varela did get 3 goal contributions, but two from a defender is a lot rarer.

Morris Schröter – RM – 66 → 83

2 Goals & 2 Assists / 4-1 win against Duisberg / N/A match rating

With the joint most goal contributions of the week, we feel that Schröter is one of the likelier choices in our FC 24 TOTW 19 predictions.

Donyell Malen – RM – 82 → 85

2 Goals / 4-0 win against Koln / 9.5 WhoScored match rating

The Dutchman was fantastic as Dortmund picked up a 4-0 win away from home. With two goals, Malen is certainly in with a shout.

Gennaro Tutino – ST – 68 → 83

3 Goals / 4-2 win against Venezia / 9.8 SofaScore match rating

The Serie B striker scored a hat trick, making him a top contender for TOTW 19. We will be surprised if he misses out.

Amalie Vangsgaard – ST → LW – 80 → 84

2 Goals & 1 Assist / 8-1 win against Bordeaux / 9.3 SofaScore match rating

The Danish attacker was immense as PSG Women destroyed Bordeaux. Vangsgaard had a helping hand in three of the eight goals, receiving the highest match rating in the process.

Artem Dovbyk – ST – 86 → 87

3 Goals / 4-1 win against Sevilla / 9.5 WhoScored match rating

The Ukrainian scored a hattrick as Girona continued this historical LaLiga run. Savio was also great, but we couldn’t ignore the three goals.
