Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is bringing with it new Whimsical GobbleGums, and there’s an easy trick to help you farm them in-game!
If you’re looking to add some wackiness to the COD Zombies experience, look no further than Black Ops 6’s Whimsical GobbleGums.
These consumable items are back from Black Ops 3, and Treyarch is offering never-seen-before effects to those dropping into its return to round-based survival.
But while Whimsical GobbleGums are the rarest type in the game, Activision has already revealed the easiest way to farm them in Black Ops 6:
How to Get Whimsical GobbleGums in Black Ops 6
The easiest way to earn guaranteed Whimsical rarity GobbleGums in Black Ops 6 is by successfully Exfilling from a Zombies map at Round 15 or higher.
According to Treyarch, calling in a rescue chopper and evacuating at high round will always guarantee the following amount of Whimsical GobbleGums:
- Round 15-29: 1 Whimsical GobbleGum
- Round 30-44: 2 Whimsical GobbleGums
- Round 45+: 3 Whimsical GobbleGums
It’s worth noting that getting to these higher rounds is no easy feat. In fact, there’s a significant difficulty spike at Round 25, meaning it may be faster to reach Round 15 and Exfil – farming just one GobbleGum at a time!
Players will often receive GobbleGums at the start of a new round, and it’s not impossible that you could find a Whimsical GobbleGum through standard gameplay too.
But considering that a successful Exfil means you’ll unlock a Whimsical-tier candy guaranteed, it’s better to get out of there before things get too hard. After all, if you die before escaping in the helicopter, your free Whimsical unlock dies with you.
If you’re farming high rounds, be sure to keep an Exit Strategy (Epic) GobbleGum in your loadout! This consumable will let you instantly call in an Exfil and it’ll also reduce the number of undead that spawn around the chopper.

All Whimsical GobbleGum in Black Ops 6
Right now, there are only two Whimsical GobbleGum in Black Ops 6:
- Indiegestion: Zombies experience extreme flatulence when killed (3 Minutes)
- Newtonian Negation: Zombies fall straight up into the air when killed (3 Minutes)
However, we expect Treyarch to release several more Whimsical-rarity GobbleGums in the near future.
In fact, one new Whimsical GobbleGum is already confirmed to be arriving in Season 1 Reloaded, alongside the next Zombies map – Citadelle des Morts!
Black Ops 3 had four Whimsical GobbleGums in its roster, and hints in the Black Ops 6 files indicate that at least another one or two could already be on the way.
