There’s a new trick that helps Black Ops 6 players rack up Critical Kills for their weapon camo unlocks, and it might be the fastest method yet!
If you’re already tired of the Call of Duty grind, there’s a new method to help you farm Critical Kills in Black Ops 6 Zombies without even firing a shot.
Since the beginning of Season 1, we’ve seen users exploiting Directed Mode to farm XP and camos in BO6, but this new trick is even better for helping you complete each weapon’s grind.
Best of all, it works for any gun in the game, and all you need is a Molotov to kick things off.
New Critical Kill Farm in Black Ops 6 Zombies
- To get started, make sure to add a Molotov to your Zombies loadout.
- Then, load into a game of Citadelle des Morts.
- Play as normal until you unlock the Pack-a-Punch.
- We recommend upgrading your weapon and armor regularly while farming too, as you’ll need to survive between Trap uses.
- Then, head to the upper gates at Hilltop, the area to the left of spawn.
- You’ll need to spend Essence to open the gate leading into the Courtyard, and then you’ll be able to interact with the Oil Trap lever.
- Activate the Oil Trap for 1000 Essence, and then throw your Molotov at the oil here to ignite it.
- While you do so, be sure to stand right here on the waist-high wall next to the oil spill.
- This will cause zombies to run at you through the fire – and every single kill will count as a Critical Kill!
- For some reason, setting an Oil Trap on fire will lead to the game counting your eliminations as Critical Kills for the weapon you currently have out.
- Make sure to bring your preferred weapon, or grab it from a Wall Buy to rack up Critical Kills at an incredible rate!
- Bear in mind that Oil Traps won’t last forever, and there’s a small recharge period between uses. When the fire goes out, it’s time for you to run around the map and upgrade your gear.
- We recommend using the Rampage Inducer located by your spawn point to increase zombie speed, thereby leading to more undead diving headfirst into your Critical Kill farm!
Just like that, you’ll be able to rack up thousands of Critical Kills per game of Black Ops 6 Zombies. This trick has reportedly been possible since the launch of Citadelle des Morts in Season 1 Reloaded, but Treyarch doesn’t seem to want to patch it – at least for now!
Therefore, be sure to take full advantage while you can!
