Treyarch has finally revealed the Zombies mode in Call of Duty Vanguard, but why will so many maps be Multiplayer reskins?
While the main attraction of every Call of Duty title is the Multiplayer, everyone enjoys a bit of Zombies too! Luckily, there looks to be some ambitious plans for the Zombies mode in Vanguard!
The Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies announcement revealed plenty of details about the upcoming game mode. And it seems like there will be plenty of departures from the traditional Zombies format.
Some fans are excited about these changes, but it seems like many more are worried about the state of Zombies in Vanguard.
Before you find out why, make sure to check out the first look at Vanguard Zombies’ Der Anfang map, alongside the new story and Field Upgrades.
Why are So Many Vanguard Zombies Maps Multiplayer Reskins or Remakes?
The action-packed Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies trailer got players excited about what was coming in the game. However, the additional details revealed later have had the opposite effect on Zombies fans.
The first Zombies map, Der Anfang, seems to take place in the Stalingrad level from the Vanguard campaign trailer. Yes, there are some differences, but ultimately it is a reskin.
Additionally, the blog post announced that players will be able to jump into Zombies on the Multiplayer map Hotel Royal and makes it seem very likely that more Multiplayer maps will be in Zombies too.
Fans are pretty excited about the Shi No Numa remake in Vanguard Zombies though. However, this is still not a brand-new map for Zombies.
This, combined with the lack of a round-based map at launch, has led to many Zombies players being disappointed at the release day offering of Zombies in Vanguard.
The likely reason behind this lack of content is because Treyarch hasn’t had much time to develop the Zombies mode in Vanguard. After all, the studio was busy developing Cold War for the past year.
At least you have all of the secrets from the new Cold War Zombies map Forsaken to find!
Meanwhile, Cold War Zombies players will be glad to hear that Vanguard will continue the Dark Aether storyline. We wonder what twists and turns are coming!
Finally, a leak suggests that Call of Duty Zombies Chronicles 2 could be in development. This would be huge news for Zombies fans.
