Fan-Made Sizzle Reel Highlights Best Games Coming to PS5

PlayStation fans are becoming more and more excited as Sony continues to reveal information and releases for the PS5.

One fan made an unofficial sizzle reel on YouTube, hyping up other PS5 fans for the next generation.

The fan, known as Tenpindan on YouTube, played some adrenaline-pumping, high-action gameplay moments from confirmed PS5 titles as the song “Dirty” by Grandson accompanied the compilation.

“I hope you get as excited about the PlayStation 5 as I am,” Tenpindan exclaimed.

What Top PS5 Games Should Players Watch For?

Demon Souls

It’s extremely hard to ignore the updated visuals of Demon Souls throughout the fanmade trailer. This was a title previously exclusive to PlayStation 3 back in 2009.

PS5 Demon's Souls

It’s quite different seeing the gameplay remastered with 4K Resolution. But it’s about time. Sony will give Demon’s Souls the second chance it deserved.

Horizon Forbidden West

PlayStation fans will immediately recognize Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn. Now Aloy is back in Horizon Forbidden West, coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2021.

While Aloy’s post-apocalyptic world will be available on both consoles, PS5 players will have the added bonus of using the PS5 controller’s haptic feedback to feel the resistance of Aloy’s infamous bow while aiming.

There will also be further special interactions while fighting both machines and humans.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales

Fans probably took note of another exclusive featured in the fan trailer: Marvel’s Spider-Man.

The new entry features Miles Morales from “Into the Spider-Verse.” Spider-Man will use invisibility and electricity to take down villains throughout New York City. Be on the lookout for faster map loading times, too.

Hitman 3

PS5 Hitman 3

This is the eighth Hitman installment and the final installment in the World of Assassination trilogy within the series.

The stealth game has Agent 47 traveling to Dubai, England, and other locations around the globe as he carries out contracted assassinations against criminal targets.

There will be PlayStation VR compatibility as well, immersing players in this violent world more than ever before.

Hogwarts Legacy

It was probably difficult to miss the Hogwarts castle near the start of the compilation. Harry Potter fans are excited about the new open world game based on their favorite series, which has players create a student attending the wizarding school in the 1800s.

Hogwarts Legacy will have players “embark on a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world,” incorporating famous locations like the Forbidden Forest.

PS5 Returnal

Featured heavily throughout the trailer was a lone woman in a space suit exploring an unkown planet after a spaceship crash.

The sci fi game follows the woman’s journey as she starts to go insane and lose her memories while looking for answers — and fighting aliens.

PS5 Stray

Yes, that was most definitely a cat in the trailer. A cat with a backpack. Stray is a third-cat adventure set in a futuristic cybercity with a seedy robotic underworld.

Not much is known about this title except that gamers play as a lost and lonely stray cat that’s attempting to “untangle an ancient mystery to escape a long-forbidden city.” That’s probably enough for most people.

PS5 Sizzle Trailer

The trailer takes a break from the action here and there to showcase the PlayStation 5 console itself. The $499 next generation console will be available on November 12, 2020.

Black and white plastic with blue lighting, the PlayStation 5 resembles a futuristic, eastern skyscraper with new illustrations putting the PS5 size into perspective. It’s much different than the simple box designs utilized in previous consoles.

The controller, on the other hand, appears larger than previous models, resembling the look and feel of previous Xbox controllers. The size increase is most likely due to the added features and abilities of the controller.

The PlayStation 5 will have a built-in 4K Blue-Ray player and backwards compatibility with thousands of PlayStation 4 titles. The PS5 has an AMD Zen 2-based CPU with 8 cores at 3.5GHz, a custom RDNA 2 AMD GPU that puts out 10.28 TFLOPs of processing power, and 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

The powerful console is already boasting a great variety of exclusive titles upon its release, as well as big blockbuster games coming 2020 and 2021.
