Fall Guys Season 2 is bringing some much-needed content to the game, with new rounds, costumes, and exciting features.
Fall Guys Season 2 is finally live, and players have a lot of new content to explore. The wacky battle royale title took the internet by storm only months ago, and now it's back for a second season of fun.
The new update contains a range of new stages and costumes, all with a medieval theme. But that's not all developer Mediatonic is bringing to the table.
Fall Guys Season 2: New Rounds
The most exciting part about Fall Guys Season 2 is that the game is finally getting a fresh injection of new rounds. In total, 4 new rounds are arriving in the game, and they're ready to cause some chaos.
Each one has a medieval theme, which disappointingly hasn't come to existing levels. However, there's plenty of fun to be had in these difficult new rounds.
In Knight Fever, players are treated to yet another treacherous race round. This one looks to be the hardest to navigate yet, with rotating spikes, scythes, and the internet's favorite "Thicc Bonkus" joining the fun.
As ever, placing in the bottom percentage will see you eliminated. Players would be wise to be both fast and careful here.
A new mechanic rears its head in Wall Guys, as players get to move blocks around to create their own stairs. The goal is on the other side of a series of large walls, each taller than the last.
Players will have to work together to build their way up to walls. In our experience though, most people prefer to let others do the work.
Egg Siege is a new take on Egg Hunt, with a medieval coat of paint. Players must still collect eggs in their respective bases, but on a castle-based stage.
With draw-bridges, scythes, and other new obstacles in play, your jelly bean will need to be as agile as they are quick. In the end, the team with the lowest egg count is on the chopping block.
Last but not least is Hoopsie Legends, an upgraded version of Hoopsie Daisy. Diving through hoops will net your team points, and you'll again be returning to a castle for this round.
Special golden hoops are worth bonus points, but getting them will require you to stack blocks into a ladder once more. It's a team game once again, and the losers are getting eliminated.
Fall Guys Season 2: New Costumes
In a game all about dressing up and showing off, of course Fall Guys Season 2 has new costumes. All with a medieval theme, we've got everything from Orcs to Knights appearing in the shop.
According to Mediatonic, we've not even seen everything that's to come in Fall Guys' latest season. Like with Team Fortress 2's The Scout, the game is set to feature more exclusive collaborations as the season goes on.
Recently, the game's official Twitter account even leaked Fall Guys Season 2 skins, in a new promotion for the update.
Fall Guys Season 2: New Features
Besides new rounds and costumes, Fall Guys Season 2 is getting a whole host of new features. In the recent update, Mediatonic is finally allowing parties to fall together when loading into a match.
Fall Guys can now be customized even further, with a series of nameplates and banners. And for those days where you can't decide what to wear, players can now randomize their costume completely.
The game has also seen a visual upgrade, with several older stages getting touched up to match the quality of Season 2. PS4 players, many of whom got the game for free on PlayStation Plus, also have new sensitivity options to enjoy.
Alongside the game's full patch notes, we've noticed a few other changes to Fall Guys Season 2:
First and most excitingly, Fall Guys has added a playlist with no team games in Season 2. After a large fan-outcry against the polarizing team games, Mediatonic is finally letting players play without them.
Next up, those who struggle to earn premium currency are in luck.
This is because a new Fall Guys Season 2 bug makes winning crowns easy. With this guide, you'll be unlocking premium costumes in no time.
